Notes on Netscape's News: While lacking many of the advanced
features that you'll find in a dedicated newsreader, Netscape's
internal newsreader remains competitive in this area, even beating
the others at their own game when it comes to ease of use. You
won't find kill files, offline/online newsreading, thread
watching/ignoring, binary decoding, or even advanced article
sorting. What you will find is a graphically appealing
multithreading client that makes reading the news your easiest task
of the day. News on Netscape loads quick, reads quick, and
'catches up' quick. For the routine daily task of monitoring several
Newsgroups (non-binary newsgroups), Netscape's News may well
be the most efficient Newsreader available.

My next favorite newsreader, next to tin (which comes with unix). I find
it interesting that the early versions of Netscape are more efficient at
reading news than more recent releases.
