URL Grabber -- One of the most annoying limits of Windows'
Clipboard is its inability to easily save more than one piece of
information. This especially becomes a problem with users wanting
to save URLs from their newsreader or mail client for later viewing
within a web browser. Previously, users could only save one URL
at a time and would have to switch back and forth between their
applications. URL Grabber eliminates this problem by saving as
many URLs as you want (the unregistered demo version is
restricted to three concurrently saved URLs at any one time) to a
file for later use. URL Grabber takes up a minimum amount of
system resources and desktop space by unobtrusively occupying the
top right corner of the screen. While users still have to manually cut
and paste URLs into URL Grabber, its ability to store many URLs
at once is especially useful for many users. At $29.95, though, I still
have to wonder if it's all that useful.
Positives: Concurrently saves multiple URLs for later use, minimal
effect on resources
Negatives: Price tag vs. value? Users still must manually cut and
paste into URL Grabber
