WS-Watch -- This is another application from the author of
WS-FTP, John Junod. WS-Watch monitors and graphically displays
the status of hosts and nodes on a small network. Telnet, FTP,
Lookup, Finger, and Whois tools have recently been added, as well
as Traceroute and Ping support (only if you're using Microsoft's
TCP/IP 32 stack). This client already adds value in the reliability
checking of small networks and is essential for monitoring host
over the Internet.
Pros: Network monitoring; several integrated tools, including
Finger and Whois
Cons: Many users will not need a network monitoring client
New: Updated help file, improved beeper support, revised license
