Our funds are real low right now, since my wife and I are both unemployed. My mother gave us her 1993 Mitsubishi Galant S Automatic to help out. The next week after paying to get the title transferred, etc. the transmission went out on it. The estimate is $1500 to get a rebuilt one. I also found out that the timing beslt needs to be changed, and that's another $300. The car has about 128,000 miles on it. Is it worth fixing it if I can borrow the money?
