Looking for a particular plant but can't remember the name? Need more info on a species/genera? This is the place for it.

ok you plant people, am trying to find brugsmania (angel's trumpet). i bought what i thought was that plant but now am convinced it was datura and not brugsmania (datura is called angel's trumpet too but it's real common name is devil's trumpet). if you know where i can find seedlings, seeds, or plants, let me know here (or you can email me by clicking on my name)! thanks!!

We have datura over here with white trumpets about a foot in length. A shrub of not stunning looks unless you feed it a lot, it is considered a weed here. Good luck. I am sure I could not send you seeds from here legally!!! It is quite toxic, you know!

datura is considered a weed in a lot of places but brugsmania is not. *sigh* the plant is toxic if you eat it, which i'm not planning on doing anytime! why would it be illegal to send seeds from hawaii?

no, i've not found any but did see a big datura growing today--it's flowers were pointing straight to the sky. brugsmania flowers nod down. thanks for the site, i will check it out!

http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/bulbs-summer/amar_bella.html Your plant in question is an Amaryllis. If the one above is not it, look in Google for it http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Naked+Lady+Lily
