Password help
If you've forgotten your password, here's what to do.
[ heads up ] The Spring deliberately has no automated password reset. We don't ask for your email at signup, so we can't send you a reset link. This is on purpose — it keeps your handle yours, with no email-takeover risk.
If you've forgotten your password
Email walhus@gmail.com with:
- Your handle (e.g. ~heide)
- Anything that helps confirm it's you (a thread you posted in, the year you joined, an old email address, etc.)
Paul (~terry, the sysop) will manually reset it within a day or two. He'll set a temporary password, send it to you in plaintext (it's a one-shot), and you change it immediately at your settings.
If you remember your password but it isn't working
Double-check:
- Caps-lock off?
- Right handle? (handles are lowercase a-z, 0-9, underscore — no @ symbols)
- Trying the right URL? Login is at /bbs/live/login
If you want to change your password
Log in, then visit your settings.
