EWAN -- Emulator Without A good Name is a free telnet and
terminal emulator for Windows. It includes DEC VT52, VT100,
and ANSI emulation capabilities. The emulation abilities can be
extended by anyone who is able to create Windows DLLs, because
emulation is defined by external DLLs and linked to the emulator at
run time. For users who need an inexpensive single-purpose
terminal emulation program, EWAN is the client of choice. Screen
and printer fonts are customizable, as are login configurations and
screen colors. There is extensive on-line help for getting started.
Positives: Free, free, free; a solid client for telnet and terminal
emulation
Negatives: Can't run multiple simultaneous virtual terminal sessions
like Win QVT
