I got this email today:
My next publishing topic will be "Texas A to Z".
Perhaps you'd feel like helping me develop the 26 letters of the
alphabet corresponding to Texas. We will need 13 plants and 13 animals.
The more they are limited to Texas the better, but they can be found in
other regions.
the letters I currently have on my list are:
a. armadillo
b. blue bonnet
l. long horn
m. mockingbird
Can you help pitch in and help Donna think up Texas things for
each letter of the alphabet?

What reference book were you talking about. I have the 1995 Texas Almanac which
lists quite a few plants/animals.
