In Detroit yesterday Dodge introduced the Tomahawk, a concept bike using the Viper's V-10, 8.3-liter engine. The alleged "independent four-wheel suspension," if it really is that, should be the most interesting part. Not new, but generally seen only in three-wheeled experiments. It's one way to retain motorcycle cornering dynamics (i.e. lean) with the added traction of more rubber on the road. Plus the thing can sit upright without a kickstand. The reports variously claim top speeds of 300 or 400 miles per hour. Right!

If they had turned the control arms and wheels outward instead of inward, they might have had a nice Bugatti Type 35 replica. As it is, it just ain't my cup o' meat, nor is it that of anybody at Motorcycle Crossroads ( http://www.fp-webs.com:8080/~Xroads ) or Mike's Workshop ( http://www.carfaxabbey.net/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=3&Board=workshop ).
