Hey, it almost sounds like a bandwagon effect. Be part of it or be left out of the great donationa to charity. It would be lovely if it could top 6 figures! Not shabby at all!

even if it begins with greed! well, i'm glad they raised that much for those
kids. let's hope it does some good. (i wonder how much $500K will do, i mean
does it pay for their meds and provide a place to sleep -which is good, but does
pay for research for better meds or even a cure?) lemme give you the name of the
charity: Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. there used to be a link
but it's gone.

I sure hope it does not fall into the administration's coffers. If it goes for research it will
be better than nothing but not much. If it went to give meds to those children who could not otherwise afford it, that would be the best of all. Perhaps we should investigate the foundation and see what they do offer sufferening children...

alright, i've gotten through on
ty.com. the tykids isn't up yet as far as pics. you can create a tyfolio which allows you to list all the beanies you own whether babies, buddies, attic treasures, etc. it also lets you create a wish list that can be emailed to your friends and relatives and you can tally up your favorite beanies. the new look is neat so far. the tyfolio needs a username and password so make sure you write those down as there's no way to get it emailed to you that i've found.

Oh Wolfie, I saw a beanie husky doggie yesterday: blue eyes, white tummy and grey back. The cutest little critter I've seen in some time. I spent an inordinant amount of time wondering what I had to do to talk the little girl out of it at the softball game...but she kept it...*sigh*
Wow! Registering like for Wedding presents. Don't think I'd have that much nerve. I did not even do that for my own wedding and ended up with five very large salad-bowl-and-matching-individual-bowl sets!
