OK Stacey, this is for you. Believe it or not, Pez Dispensers are hot so pull them out of the box in the attic!

since i was a military brat and spent a lot of time in germany, i didn't get the
beauty of pez until i was much much older. let's say that i got my first pez
dispenser at halloween last year. wonder if i still have that bad boy. will have
to look. i don't know what makes pez dispensers valuable or if they have to be
NRFB (never removed from box) or something. but, i'll look for some links and
post them up for you.

When I first got into webbing and browsers my son gave me his bookmarks to start with. This
one was in there:

Odd you didn't know Pez when you where over here, Oh Furry One! I knew 'em, and had some, of course they were not considered collectibles...
They came as Disney and Warner cartoon characters, I seem to remember Speedy Gonzales and Daffy Duck (or Donald D.?), maybe Bugs Bunny.
Pez comes from Austria, I think.

Definitely Bugs, but never Donald Duck - he is a Disney Character (unless there is another merger or buyout or whatever!) Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner are also known as are Popeye and that whole set unless the latter were Oriental knockoffs

picked up sylvester and tweety the other day (they went in a care package for
our deployed).
nope, don't remember pez in germany.
ok, so they come in a plastic bag now (some do). does the value go down because
you broke the bag and ate the candies that come with them?

If I dared to collect anything with edible parts, I'd be posting in the SpringArk creepy crawlers topic. We have ants who can eat through foil packaging and can crawl up the threads of a peanut butter jar while the lid is screwed on tight. Betcha none of the Pez dispensers come with the edibles intact!

You girls wanna see
http://www.pez.com/ . And they had Disney ones, too, just their list doesn't give manufacture dates. :=/
