Whether you want to marvel at the brilliance of the Comfortably Numb guitar solo, pay tribute to Syd Barrett or find out what Roger Waters, Nick Mason, David Gilmour and Rick Wright are up to these days, this topic is for you.

I like the Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall - the latter is one of the most fascinating stage shows (see Roger Waters "The Wall - Live in Berlin" concert, July 1990)ever produced, and who can forget the crazy movie?
Next album to get is Animals.

You have to love the percussion solo at the start of Time, and its steady escalation to...
Ticking away the moments that make up the dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find that ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or a half page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in a quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone the song is over, thought i'd something more to say

The collapse of Pink Floyd was a terrible blow to music. Such a collection of genius may never be matched again. I just bought the pulse DVD set. It was great, but could have been so much better if Waters was there. Anyway Floyd rocks!
