what typesof songs do you write?

Stacey welcome to my lyric corner: The type of music I write reflects how I am feeling at that particular moment. I usually write about issues which effect us all. Especially about how we as adults respond to one another, whether or not we are effectively communicating with each other properly. I usually allow a limited amount of songwriters and performers use my material as well as I perform them myself. Lately though I have been focusing my efforts and attention towards my three book serial which will be coming out in 2000. I don't erform as much as I used too. When these books are finished, I do look to creating an all female or partial female musical ensemble, with mainly instrumental and celtic musical influences. Please feel free to express any interests you may have. Even though I am not performing presently, songwriting and poetry are very dear to my heart. As we say back in Scotland: Erin De Burgh! Are these books handwritten are do you have them in ascii form somewhere yet? What stands between you and have them published? What work do you have to do yet?

Paul Terry How Lovely for you to respond; Right now my manuscripts are in long hand, ready to be transferred to disc. Then all I have to do is have them ghostwritten and polished and submitted. I am looking at subsidy publishing, so the author; myself has 50% control on how my books are handled from beginning to their release dates. Right now my financial funding is a bit tight, due to other priorities I cannot ignore. Terry I am just getting reclamated again from being in hiding during the first have of this decade, due to my unfortunate sho ting, and recovery. I was out of commission entirely during this period. I lost a great deal of money, went through 2 major family deaths which directly affect me. The goodness out of this ordeal, it gave me the time to get these books down on paper. It has been along uphill battle, I feel strongly I have come a long way since returning to the states back in 1995. Texas is a whole new experience for me, I have been here many times as a performer or in business. I do love it here, I knew sometime soo I did want to come here and work my businesses back up here. Dallas though was a great disappointment for me. I was really positive and hoping for different things to happen for me there, but I was wrong. If I would have known about Austin sooner, all of my setbacks would have never happened. I truelly feel things will really smoothen out from here, you will see some great books coming your way soon. I wonder if anyone here has ever been to Scotland. Where were you raised in Scotland, Caryn? And in your website, are you going to put up a sample chapter or something to tease folks, Caryn?

I am from a wonderful and friendly town called Airdrie, a distant suburb of Glasgow, it is about 15 minutes east of Glasgow, we have a great famous Rubgy team called Airdrie Lagers, they have won many legendary games and Cup matches. It had a population of 1500 when I left back in 1965, and it is now between 3000 and 5000. Nice size but still small enough with down home, friendly scottish charm, honest and sincere people, etc. I hope you and your patrons will be able to see this great nation before you eave this planet. Airdrie is right in the middle between both Glasgow and Edinburgh, so it allows us good access to both cities. Glasgow, haa really sprouted over the last 11 yrs. It was once known unfortunately for its terrible tenament slums, high unemployment and crudeness, due to Glasgow's many years of struggle in the shadow of London and Manchester, down south in England. But not anymore, she has really started shinning very brightly, Glasgow, is now the proud home, of the largest and the most p estigious Glass enclosed plaza square filled with great shops, restaurants, entertainment, and great hotels around it. Glasgow recently reopened the famous Royal Scottish Art Museum and Institute, it has been visited by thousands since it reopened back in 1991 I believe. These two landmarks are located around Argyle street, Our famous boulevard equiviland to bond street or Park Lane in London, or 5th Avenue, Central Avenue in New york. Some great sights to start your great expedition to Scotland on. E inburgh is aqhole another story, She is absolutely radiant, gracious and intruguing with the Edinburgh Castle, home to the military Tatoo; a magnificent military pagentry of our changing of the guards; held exclusively inside the Castle Grounds which opens The Edinburgh International Music and Jazz Festival. It is acertainly an event not tobe missed. Many things to see and do in Scotland. Many a famous people have come from our great country. Fabulous! Fabulous! Yes there is many resemblences between Austin and Glasgow, that is why I chose to move here and hopefully make both Glasgow and Austin my permanent homes. It would be lovely indeed to have a great website for my books, there are many more to follow this trilogy believe me. I will probably reenter the music Ind. again as a active performer, once my books are really going well, I have my production and recording company which I would like to attach to the website; Addmoro records and roductions, full service TV, Video, Music producing and promotions. Established in 1982 with A.S.C.A.P. as well as the International musicians Guild and Union. I as a songwriter and performer have been a member of A.S.A.C.P. for 35 yrs. I would like to promote some great bands here. Why They are Lewis from Jimmie and the Fab T-birds, Danny from 13th Floor Elevator and Ricky Nelson, Michael, no ties to anyone and their new drummer which is very new so I don't know his name yet, but he had heavy ties with Ricky Nelson, Grandfunk, etc! Sorry no last names at the moment. They all consist of 40 plus yrs of fabulous music! Roll on! Thank You! Caryn.
