This topic is in the "Cars" conference: http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/read/cars/36 ...but I figured that there woudl be some good musical input into the discussion. After all, what would a road trip be without some good music? Suggestions: Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf (of course...) America - Simon & Garfunkel America - Neil Diamond Back In The USA - Chuck Berry Country Roads, Take Me Home - John Denver (although I like the Toots & The Maytals cover, but what can I say? I'm Jamaican!) Rocky Mountain High - John Denver Homeward Bound - Simon & Garfunkel My Life - Billy Joel Say Goodbye To Hollywood - Billy Joel Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd All My Ex-s Live In Texas - some country singer or other Don't Look Back - Peter Tosh & Mick Jagger (or would you prefer the original by Smokey Roinson & The Miracles?) Cruising - Smokey Robinson Sailing - Cristopher Cross Movin' Out/Anthony's Theme - Billy Joel Roadhouse Blues - The Doors Alabama Song (Whisky Bar) - The Doors Highway 61 Revisited - Bob Dylan Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 - Bob Dylan Drive My Car - The Beatles Little Deuce Coupe - The Beach Boys Little Honda - The Beach Boys (I have never heard Little Red Corvette by Prince, would that be appropriate?) Little Old Lady From Pasadena - Jan & Dean (Dead Man's Curve by Jan & Dean may be a bit much...) Any other suggestions?

The Beatles did another song, one of the lines was "on my way home" or something, what song was that? Hey, what a great idea for a CD to take on the road!
