What? Is everybody so busy with da kids that they have no time to blather away on here? Is this what I have to look forward to? Toodles, Tommy

I don't know why this conference doesn't get more traffic for sure, but I know that for myself, at the end of the day of being with my kids I look forward to communicating with adults about adult interests. But, hey, I can brag with the best of 'em!

I guess know one is on at the time, but maybe after the kids are in bed and I can hear myself think I will come back on.

Yes, please, do come back... Sorry, Thomas, I know not of what you speak...

Woo-hoo!!! We got the results of the CVS back! It's a girl! (or, at least, it will be on or about Nov. the 11th...) The Wife is now happy. Therefore I am relaxed. Therefore I am happy (well, OK, WER, I'm 'content'). QED

the 11th is exactly between the kid's birthdays...hmmm
~autumn Sun, May 17, 1998 (23:55) #8
Great news, Tommy! She's gonna change your life...now, what's the name??
~CotC Mon, May 18, 1998 (12:54) #9
The Wife's decided on Cassidy Morgan (oh yeah, Smith) which is fine with me. I never call anyone by their actual, legal name anyway, so I'll probably saddle her with "Stinky" or something like that...

*laugh* I was 'piglet' until age 21! And dad still stumbles occassionally (but more often with pun'kin head or peahs) Ooops! "peaches" that is. My brothers fave was 'hey bitch' *smile* he's all grown up now!
~autumn Thu, May 21, 1998 (23:53) #11
Lemme guess, older brother--right? My older brother basically had the same name for me, but my "little" brother (who's 6'4" now!) worshiped the ground I walked on.
~KitchenManager Fri, May 22, 1998 (00:48) #12
hey, my little brother is 6'4", also...
~autumn Fri, May 22, 1998 (01:22) #13
And you? Or did you wash up on the shallow end of the gene pool?
~KitchenManager Fri, May 22, 1998 (01:53) #14
dad: 6'6" mom: 5'5" me: 6'2" melissa: 5'7" melinda: 6'0" michael: 6'4"

Hey, you all are some pretty statuesque folks, too! (BTW, why didn't you get an "M" name??)
~KitchenManager Mon, May 25, 1998 (18:47) #16

~jgross5 Mon, May 25, 1998 (19:28) #17
I thought you once said that yer mom & dad named you Manager (Kitchen) but after puberty, Kitchen just sorta started coming first...
~autumn Mon, May 25, 1998 (22:17) #18
LOL!
~stacey Mon, May 25, 1998 (22:17) #19
are you the oldest WER? Perhaps they didn't wise up to the 'hepness' of single letter symbolism until later!
~autumn Mon, May 25, 1998 (22:17) #20
Probably all those time constraints prevented them from figuring it out 'til later.
~KitchenManager Mon, May 25, 1998 (22:17) #21
