Well? What, and more importantly where, are your favorites?
~autumn Sun, Jul 26, 1998 (22:35) #1
http://www.momsonline.com is one of my favorites--there are boards on everything from homeopathy to hobbies. There's even a regional board, with a topic for each state and some countries.

Let's not forget about the drive to have all of our spawn and/or spawn-to-be christened as official FEMA Disaster Action Kids...
~autumn Fri, Aug 7, 1998 (21:39) #3
What are you talking about?
~terry Sat, Aug 8, 1998 (01:32) #4
This will be interesting to hear.
~KitchenManager Sun, Aug 9, 1998 (00:45) #5
FEMA's kids' site... FBI's kids' site... DOJ's kids' site...
~autumn Sun, Aug 9, 1998 (23:59) #6
No comprendez.
~terry Mon, Aug 10, 1998 (00:13) #7
Scratches head. Translation, please.

I'm expressing my lack of comprehension about spawn-christened-FEMA-disaster etc. It sounds like a foreign language to me!

Or, just go straight to the interactive Java online coloring book: http://www.fema.gov/kids/games/colorbk/color1.htm

I don't think I want my girls to be Disaster Action Kids.
~KitchenManager Sun, Aug 23, 1998 (02:31) #12
but, it's what the Government wants...
~autumn Mon, Aug 24, 1998 (23:26) #13
An even more compelling reason to resist.
~KitchenManager Tue, Aug 25, 1998 (23:53) #14
resistance is futile...
~autumn Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (12:30) #15
Resistance is the secret of joy.
~KitchenManager Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (13:03) #16
so, no doesn't always mean no?
~autumn Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (13:19) #17
It's the POWER, I guess.
~KitchenManager Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (13:53) #18
all meanings are contextual, then?
~autumn Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (16:28) #19
I have no idea what you mean, but, sure.
~KitchenManager Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (16:29) #20
I must have missed yours, as well.
~autumn Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (16:39) #21
I was referring to the Alice Walker novel we've been discussing in books. (Resistance is the secret of joy.) So, what you talkin' 'bout, Willis?
~KitchenManager Wed, Aug 26, 1998 (16:43) #22
I was right, I didn't understand your meaning... I guess this means I should go back to the topic, no?
~autumn Sun, Aug 30, 1998 (17:12) #23
Ah, screw it, let's just talk about something else. Is Zoe going to any kind of school this year? Lydia starts back tomorrow five half-days, and Juliette goes full-time (!) this year next week.
~KitchenManager Mon, Aug 31, 1998 (00:51) #24
Zoe's on half days in Pre-K...
~autumn Thu, Sep 3, 1998 (23:56) #25
How does she like it? Lydia loves it, but she was there 3 half days last year, so this year she's top dog.
