trivia question #7 What team will be destroyed by ohio state this weekend? You guessed it!Notre dame!!!!!Watch out for number 45 on defense!45 that number sounds familiar.....hummmmmmm-Archie Griffin! He gave his number to this up and coming great linebacker!

Well hello fred, your a new voice and I take it you must be an Ohio State Fan as most of the Texas fans have not been heard from since the game. I have a very good friend in Bastrop whom I believe is the other OSU fan in Texas. And like I told her, Notre Dame is at their own home, Lou knows this is the game to win if any chance at the National Title. And #45 does not an entire defense make, Notre Dame by 2.
~TJ Thu, Sep 26, 1996 (15:47) #9
I exited to soon fred, don't try that look at what we've done this year argument because it didn't work for Texas either. Of course you can run up high scores against schools that couldn't beat any of the USA Todays High School top 20. This time they will have to face a team with the defense on the field. I'm not saying Ohio State isn't good, its just not as good at Notre Dame.!!!!!!!!!! See the College Picks section and look at my prediction for the final poll of the year. So far I'm moving right al ng. And I still stand by the picks.

The real trivia question # 7 What college has had the most players earn consensus All-American Honors? And once again the answer is Notre Dame with 76 consensus All-Americans. As a matter of fact, Notre Dame has had a consensus All-American for 25 of the last 30 years including 17 years in a row from 1964 to 1981 which covers all 11 years for Coach Parseghian and all 6 years for Coach Devine.

Trivia Question # 9 What school has produced the most First Team All-Americans selected by UNANIMOUS decision? Well considering that Notre Dames has the most First Team All-Americans at 170 it would figure that they should have the most selected by unanimous decision. and that number is 29.
