November 14, 2002 :: Another benefit of watching Lord of the Rings is you get nearly three hours of VIGGO !!!!
What a man . . . man. Number two on my List of Men I'd Flip the Switch For.
Here is a list of fun Viggo facts. I myself was surprised to learn that Exene Cervenka is is X-wife ( ha ha !!
Unintentional Pun !!!)
Posted by Shari at 12:59 PM | Comments (0) | linkage
Wait . . . I just remembered, I dreamt about Devin's blog last night. I went to his website and Geno had
redesigned it with a prison motif (?!?). It was very dark and rustic with a chain link fence background. And I
was a little annoyed because all of Erin's entries were replaced by some guy named Neil.
Posted by Shari at 07:14 AM | Comments (0) | linkage
Watched Lord of the Rings last night. Have definitely changed my original opinion. Film appreciation for me is,
really, just all about mood. Am I sitting in a comfortable chair? Do I have a heating pad readily available for
any physical ailments? Is my girlfriend sitting next to me cracking bad jokes? I watched it (mostly) by myself
while C. was out and found it actually to be a pretty good movie.
By the way, C. did come home and watched it for a little while too and also (somewhat) changed her mind about it
too. It seems she just dislikes the whole fantasy movie thing altogether ( I refuse, REFUSE to say genre today).
Reason? Too unrealistic.
Is it just me, or is that really funny?
On another note, boycott is over and so is pity party. Sorry for the interruption.

From joe-rabie@well.com
Sat Nov 23 '02 (16:57)
Here is the result of some six months of labour, that is "officially"
going online tonight:
INAUGURATION
Today is the inauguration of the "Over My Dead Body" project. You are
cordially invited to participate - if, of course, you identify yourself
with the project's goals.
The "Over My Dead Body" project is an online, virtual demonstration,
politicising the major themes of globalisation and the economy, the
environment, etc. The federating platform is the promotion of "the
politics of generosity" to unblock the stranglehold of corporate and
nationalist self-interest upon the world's destiny.
People are invited to participate, and are represented symbolically in
the demonstration by their name, place of residence, and if they so
wish, photo, and virtual placard. Thus people from the four corners of
the globe may fraternise and march together.
The site also contains a section called "The State of Things", which
presents an evolving portrait of the world today. The "About" section
contains the project Manifesto, and other information.
If you agree with what the project represents - come join the demo
with us! And please forward this message to your family, your friends,
your colleagues. The presence of each person is important: a trickle
becomes a torrent that becomes a tidal wave, rolling for change.

http://www.mailinater.com/mailinator/index.jsp
ave you ever gone to a website that asks for your email address? (haven't we
all). You know that the moment you type it in, it is streaming across the
net on its way to every spam database in the world. You simply can't be that
careless with your personal email address.
What if there was a website that any and every email address you can think
of already exists. And you use any one you like, anytime you like - just by
thinking one up.
Welcome to Mailinator. It's like super-instant, always-ready, any-email-
you-want email. Right now. It's your personal disposable email account. Here
is how it works: You are on the web, at a party, or talking to your favorite
insurance salesman. Wherever you are, someone (or some webpage) asks for
your email. You know if you give it, you're gambling with your privacy. On
the other hand, you do want at least one message from that person. The
answer is to give them a mailinator address. You don't need to sign-up. You
just make it up on the spot. Pick schminky@mailinator.com or
funwump123@mailinator.com pick anything you want.
Later, come to this site and check that account. Its that easy. Mailinator
accounts are created when mail arrives for them. No signup, no personal
information, and when you're done you can walk away an instant solution
to one way spammers get your address. It's an anti-spam solution for
everyone. Your temporary email account will be automatically deleted for you
after a few hours.
Let'em spam.
