Salon is a webzine. http://www.salon.com
Salon is as described: website/webpub founded by David Talbot, ex- of
the Examiner and David Zweig, along with several other Examiner
refugees and a few key people from other places.
Content focuses on what is said to be some of the best writing on
the net, with coverage of books, ideas and the arts. The "salon" concept is
to set up pieces as sparks for, or incitement to, discussions between
writers and readers in a web-conferencing system that is set up
as an integral part of the site.
