In 1993, Congress passed a resolution acknowledging and apologizing for
its century-old violations of international law. More and more Hawaiians
are coming to realize that theirs is an occupied country, and that the
State of Hawaii is just plain illegal.
Does the media cover this? Nyet.

Yup, this is not gonna happen. As a wise man once said to me, better mean old American took Hawaii then mean old Russia. They built a fort on Kauai - it is still there. With Pearl Harbor, how long do you think Hawaii would remain independent and safe from takeover by some not as nice country? It simply will not happen!

The hostile takeover by a foreign power is very real...I meant that the independant nationhood will not happen.

i've never heard about this. isn't hawaii made up of all sorts of different people living there like here on the mainland?

Why would Hawaii want to secede. I know why Alaska would.
