What are the great sports web sites?
~terry #1
I heard about these today from vard@well.com: The playoff picture, updated nightly, at http://www.well.com/user/ruz/playoff.html The wildcard and home field advantage rules, at http://www.well.com/user/ruz/wildcard.html Dribblin' Dick alert: The ex-Cub factor page, at http://www.well.com/user/ruz/excub.html My favorite is Fred Goodwin's Cowboy site, elsewhere mentioned.

As a newley released player from aol training camp,it's obvious something serious was wrong with that team.As a free agent now I'm testing the market.I am a great special teems player, and to that end I will be available to listen to Texas talk.Howevre I must warn you that The Miami Dolphins now have Jimmy Johnson. Were yall gald to see him leave? :-) As a Floridian I am a dolphin fan to the end, however the Dolphins must play against someone. As said befor I am a new release and shall be looking for an IRC with the florida teams in mind.Mean while Play Ball!

Good to have you aboard Jim. No, I wasn't glad to see Jimmy Johnson go. I thought it was a stupid ego battle and the guy won us two Superbowls.

Terry: Having been a Don Shula Fan all my football life,I can understand what Coach Johnson had to deal with in(Jones) Dallas.Seeing him leave the UofMiami,Well he did get a good offer. Down here We had The oppsite of Jones,Joe Robbie.Don't get me wrong I do like the fact we have the Dolphins, but listing to J.J. on the news and reading his comments in the paper makes a person wonder if leaving Dallas was all his fault.Seems like Jones has a mind of his own.Anyway getting used to a new coach after so long leaves me wondering.....J.J Florida.

OK fishing web site. You might as well send the creator of this website an invitation to add a link to this item so that folks who visit her site can talk about fishing. She can add this link if she likes: http://www.spring.com/yapp-bin/public/read/sports/16 This allows folks to start reading right away without having to sign in or have an account yet.

One of the more innovative sports sites is the java driven http://www.instantsports.com Not only do you get eh scores, you get a java image of the action in as near to real time as they can deliver it. You get to see the runners get hits and advance soon after the actual plays. One of our strategic partners, Federico Brown, played a role in getting this site together. They may be planning similar sites for other sports.
~oplion #16
Terry; I checked out the Ballpark, and wouldn't you know it,I have installed Netscape 3.0 Gold and it doesn't talk their language. So I'll just stick around High Way 21 with you guys!

If anyone knows of additional URL's that I don't have, please let me know at jc-uga@doglover.com Give this a try: http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Field/4167 Thanks, Jack Campbell (Lilburn Dawg)

A great site: http://pathfinder.com/si/sionwomen/index.html It's Sports Illustrated's site on women in sports. It represents months of work and is worth visiting.
~terry #22
Now, we have a "classic sports network": http://www.classicsports.com
~ginger #23
Is NBA.COM any good?
~terry #24
It's a pretty good site. Sportszone is probably better coverage.
~firstandone #25
Check out the sports links at http://www.freeyellow.com/members2/sportzcraze/page2.html from baseball to umpires.
~terry #26
Will do. Got any other favorite sports sites?
