Tiger Woods may change the entire face of golf. He's already become a major force and the darling of Nike. Let's talk tiger.

Tiger really burned up the Augusta National at the Masters a couple of days ago. Anyone watch this. Tiger is just a "nice kid" who everyone likes who, by the way, may be the best golfer ever at 21 years of age. What next for Tiger Woods? The US Open.

Tiger, despite his 2nd major win, is still yet to prove himself in the Ryder Cup arena - his record, like that of most of the USA team in foursomes and fourballs, remains unimpressive. We European fans will continue to question his heart (never his talent) until he sets this record straight. Although congrats to USA on yesterday's win. A bitter pill, and plenty of sour grapes over here about players running across the line of Olazabal's possible tying putt, and encouraging the crowds to cheer louder ev n before European shots.

European? Where from?

They couldn't hold back, cause they were so bashed in the media and by the fans and they had been more or less abandoned to lose. On top of that, Austinite Justin Leonard hadn't been doing well and then sank a 45' putt. Gold just doesn't tolerate displays of team spirit like other sports, it's so rare.

I have to agree Leonard's transformation halfway through his last match was unbelievable. Personally I don't mind the "antics" too much - not when I've calmed down and accepted the defeat - but the press (and some of the European team officials) have made a lot of it. Alexander, I'm British - hope I didn't give the impression I thought Tiger was European.
