Your own front door · Cedar Creek 78612 · $620/mo + utilities · month-to-month · available now
A standalone cabin of your own, set back in the trees on a quiet wooded acre in Cedar Creek (78612) — about 6 miles from Starlink Plaza, SpaceX, The Boring Company and X in Bastrop.
It is your own front door. No shared hallway, no roommate, no apartment complex, no gate code. Park at your place, walk inside, close the door. Around you: an acre of trees, a creek you can actually fish, and the kind of quiet that lets you think.
Month-to-month, no long lease, move in now. And if you settle in, you are welcome to stay for the long haul — plenty of folks come here for a season and end up putting down roots.
A large private home and a scatter of separate units on a big wooded lot, owned and lived in by a quiet, easygoing couple who keep to themselves and value privacy. Not a party place, not a flop. Think trees, birdsong, a creek, and dependable internet. The neighbors are engineers, contractors, traveling pros and retirees — a grown-up, stable, low-drama environment.
There is a genuine coworking setup on the property, free to use:
If you record, stream, take a lot of calls, or build things, you will have real tools at hand and the quiet to use them.
If you like working with your hands, there is always a satisfying project around the place — light plumbing, electrical, and general fix-it work for someone who enjoys it. Open to a fair work-trade arrangement (rent offset) for the right handy person. Not required at all — just a real opportunity if that is your thing.
