Trumpet Telnet

Trumpet Telnet -- Trumpet Telnet is packaged with Peter Tattam's shareware Trumpet Winsock package. It can also be downloaded by itself for free from the Trumpet server. As a telnet client, TrumpTel lacks many features, but it does get the job done. Specifically, it works well as an external client for World-Wide Web Browsers and Gopher clients. While lacking an on-line help system and customizable/configurable options, TrumpTel does allow basic VT100 terminal emulation with two additional features: cut & paste and basic font control. This telnet client is similar to WinQVT's, but it lacks many of WinQVT's features and customizable options.
