Anyone know of and programs that allow you to view HTML files off-line without having to install an entire 'net package? I know of QuikView from INSO Corp. But I am looking for something less comprehensive for Win 3.1 and also for Win95.

I hope I'm close to an answer, but would WebWhacker do the job or does this fit into your definition of an "entire net package"? This program gets an A plus for effectiveness and ease of use (in my book).

"WebWhacker"? I've seen and heard of it. I know there is a CD version...figured it had to be fairly large then. I use NetAttache and SmartMarks 2.0 for my bookmarking and automated web browsing. But neither give you a QuickView option under Win95's Explorer. Can WebWhacker do that and is it reasonable in size (file space)? I'd be happy with less than two megs taken up, elated with a meg or less.

I'm not up on what a QuickView option is in Explorer. There is a separate item on WebWhacker in this Apps conference that you may want to check out, as well as Forrest's review on this program.
