In another post Cheryl brought up the purpose of some of the various supporting characters. She mentioned Denny which I have also wondered about. Any thoughts to his purpose in the story?
Also does anyone else think it odd that Lydia and Denny's characters are never romantic? I also wondered that Denny did not try and stop Lydia from running off.
