My fav local rock band is currently The Ugly Americans, why I even found there album available on the Columbia House mail order catalogue.

A long time staple of the Austin music scene is Thw Gingabreadmen.
A bad ass jazz rock blues funk fusion. Usually cranking out with three horns that set them apart from most others in there genre. Playing weekly at Stubbs BBQ. 8th street --on the corner just down the street from the police station.

Go support Breedlove in there attempt to gain national recognition in the Grammy Showcase. A nation wide competition that will send the winners to the Grammys in New York. Stubbs BBQ is hosting the regional finals featuring BREEDLOVE on Feb. 7th. for info call 480-0203
