Colin Firth commenting on his role in 1000 Acres:
"To be a man in a movie written about women, from a woman's point of view, "isdifficult," admits Mr. Firth, who plays the Cooks' dashing neighbor who seduces Ginny and Rose. "I noticed this when I was playing Darcy in Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' " on television in January, he said.
