~mikeg Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (15:19) #5
oh WER, you're so crass :-))))) This is another cooly topic - becoming a bit of a fashion this starting topics about spring-babes. The big question, of course, is WHEN ARE THE PICTURES COMING, GIRLS? *smooch*

~KitchenManager Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:04) #17

~KitchenManager Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:08) #19

~Wolf Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:15) #22
*the wolf tilts her ears forward in interest*
~KitchenManager Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:20) #23
am sposed to bite you on the back of the neck now, right? (and what do I need to do to get you to raise your tail in interest?)
~Wolf Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:21) #24
no biting, nibbling maybe, but watch the ears..... (g'night, sweetie pie)
~KitchenManager Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:25) #25
nite-nite... (did I run you off?)
~Wolf Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:27) #26
no, just sore arms and tired eyeballs!
~KitchenManager Tue, Apr 14, 1998 (23:30) #27
not to mention, sore shot spots... (gotta stay paranoid, you know, always good to keep in practice...)
~KitchenManager Thu, Apr 23, 1998 (13:44) #28
When does the two month wolf exile begin?
~Wolf Fri, Jun 19, 1998 (00:44) #29

~terry Wed, Apr 28, 1999 (09:55) #33
Still runnin' wild and free.
~wolf Wed, Apr 28, 1999 (11:14) #34
that's the way i likes it *wolfie grin*
~KitchenManager Thu, Apr 29, 1999 (01:33) #35

~wolf Fri, May 5, 2000 (23:04) #39
just stopped in to clean off the dust *sneeze* man! there's a lot of it! what, no i love you letters and no traffic in my topic? *sniff*
~sociolingo Sat, May 6, 2000 (07:56) #40
Hiya Wolfie, just visiting, *grin* i didn't get any love letters either - must be a bunch of us out there! mind, must be the first time i'm glad i didn't.
~sprin5 Sat, May 6, 2000 (09:43) #41
I got three love letters today, deleted 'em right away.
~MarciaH Sat, May 6, 2000 (11:18) #42
None so far, but I am downloading Saturday's bunch. Maybe I am not flattered to be ignored like this. I know someone who had 15 the first morning. Apparently she did not open one, or I would have had some, too.
~sprin5 Sat, May 6, 2000 (11:41) #43
I'm deleting nearly every email I get with attachments. Not taking chances on this one.
~sociolingo Sat, May 6, 2000 (12:41) #44
I think we should be glad we were missed out! (I shall get T send you a silly card just to make up, Marcia! *grin*)
~MarciaH Sat, May 6, 2000 (13:22) #45
Do that...(would he?!)
~wolf Sat, May 6, 2000 (17:46) #46
i was glad not to get any either!
~sociolingo Sat, May 6, 2000 (17:49) #47
Maybe we're some sort of exclusive club???? *grin*
~wolf Sat, May 6, 2000 (17:52) #48
the unloved? *laugh*
~sociolingo Sat, May 6, 2000 (17:53) #49
Nah, the special! *grin*
~wolf Sat, May 6, 2000 (17:54) #50
the smart!
~sociolingo Sat, May 6, 2000 (17:55) #51
(Marcia, don't dare me ...yes he would if i put him up to it!!!) Do you want one too wolfie? (card from T. that is .... *laugh*) Oops better let him finish his sermon for tomorrow first!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (00:30) #52
Seems you were doing just fine while I was away from the computer. I wonder what 2 days will do for my image?! Oh well, even those who send real ones are too busy to do so, I guess. Shall I take up Holy Orders or wait a little longer? Poor Dear Tony - *Big Bear Hugs* to him for being so good-hearted and caring!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (00:33) #53
I consider us the discerning. Those who appreciate the mine inside of the beauty are the ones we attract. They don't waste their intellectual energy sending junk through the mail! Exclusive, Indeed!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (00:34) #54
the mind....the mind inside of the beauty...definitely too much sun this afternoon...and a much bigger dose tomorrow!
~sociolingo Sun, May 7, 2000 (03:15) #55
Wolfie, you topic seems to be doing quite well with all the company, now who else can we attract??
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (03:35) #56
Guys...?
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (03:37) #57
Gotta be the right guys, though...but we will entertain any passersby...*smile*
~sociolingo Sun, May 7, 2000 (03:42) #58
we're very entertaining! and hospitable! and friendly! *big grin*
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (03:54) #59
Oh yes, Indeed! Ask a few dozen folks who know me *Even Bigger Grin*
~sociolingo Sun, May 7, 2000 (04:09) #60
Well ladies, you got your cards! *grin*
~sociolingo Sun, May 7, 2000 (04:24) #61
Don't be offended - was just being silly!
~sociolingo Sun, May 7, 2000 (05:36) #62
(*crawling back into my corner until forgiven*)
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (14:01) #63
(*thinking about it...*)
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (17:38) #64
maggie, you are silly. the card was great!!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (17:45) #65
I was all disappointment. She said Tony was sending it. I have IM'd him and thought he was not monkeying around. Oh well, I'm clueless, sometimes. OK, Maggie, I know you put him up to it, but I forgive you...this time....
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (17:47) #66
Oooh, Wolfie, I got the book I ordered with the Landscape paintings in it.
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (17:55) #67
you like it?
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (17:58) #68
It's nice but only one painting which REALLY interests me... It is very evocative of Maine and the atmosphere, and it does contain one painting by the non-related David Little (which looks more like I did it than the artist for whom I bought the book...)
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:00) #69
oh no!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:07) #70
Well, it is a good excuse to email him about the next book to purchase with his paintings in it. I hate to bother him right now between returning from Rome and having a major exhibition opening at the end of the month and updating his web site by May 15 (not to mention all of his friends who are doubtless giving him plenty of open houses to attend...and being filmed for more PBS programs and those things which populate the truly gifted people's lives) I am closer to the bottom of the pecking order than they, but he DID write first and requested conversation. I will give him time to settle down again. I would love a book entirely dedicated to him - and it will come, most assuredly!
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:09) #71
well, with his exposure, it should!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:10) #72
This is the painting in the book (leaving off the front of the url...but you know what it is http://www.com/imold/wasswinter4.html
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:11) #73
send it email (i lost the rest of it)
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:14) #74
In the book it is incredible. You were right, these pixels do not do justice to paintings. Fine photographs are much the better - and comparing the book with the image onscreen, the others which we love must be incredible!!!
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:15) #75
(meant the address; i think i accidentally deleted it)
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:19) #76
I sent it if you mean the URL...
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:21) #77
yes, that's what i mean, i accidentally deleted it while cleaning out my inbox.
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:24) #78
got it, thanks!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:26) #79
Tis done... This painting in the book is the only one in there where the rocks are definitely THIS side of the sea. I have not the slightest idea how he did it but it is magical, exactly like those very rocks look (I've been there!)and so dimensional as to be hypnotizing. I MUST have a big book of as many of his paintings as there are published...
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:29) #80
hmmm...next time i'm out shopping *grin* i'll look!
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:32) #81
I wonder if Borders or Waldenbooks would have it - page 87 if you are looking. "Art of the Maine Islands" by Carl Little (no relative) and Arnold Skolnick Downeast Books 1997
~wolf Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:33) #82
i meant a book with only his pics.
~MarciaH Sun, May 7, 2000 (18:51) #83
Gotta light a fire under somebody to get going on that project!
~MarciaH Sat, Jun 9, 2001 (00:18) #84

~autumn Sat, Jun 9, 2001 (01:40) #86
Happy Birthday, Wolf! It's still June 8 here!
~wolf Sat, Jun 9, 2001 (10:34) #87

~terry Sat, Jun 9, 2001 (14:25) #88
Happy Birthday Wolfie!!!
~wolf Fri, Nov 30, 2001 (20:55) #89

~autumn Sun, Dec 2, 2001 (01:40) #90
I for one am glad to see it back in service, Wolfbabe!! BTW, I watched a fascinating show on PBS last night about the wolves of Yellowstone.
~AotearoaKiwi Sun, Dec 2, 2001 (05:14) #91
Hi all Hello Wolfie Baby (I like the name), Marcia's gentle hand guided me to this topic for someone equally gentle. Rob
~wolf Sun, Dec 2, 2001 (20:52) #92
ooooooooooooo! thanks for stopping by! *grin* i've seen so many wolf specials, autumn, that i can't keep up with them. don't know if we have wolves locally (besides me)
~MarciaH Sun, Dec 2, 2001 (22:11) #93
Wolfie, how much do you like coyotes. You have them. I have been wakened in the night by their howling. It's quite unnerving when you are not used to it. I should have realized they were your poor relatives! AhhhhhhWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo
~MarciaH Sun, Dec 2, 2001 (22:14) #94
I was in Chino Hills at the time, Not Hilo. If I heard a wolfie here, I'd put on the coffee and snuggle in for a long chat with her! Pass the People and Wolfie Biscuits!
~wolf Mon, Dec 3, 2001 (21:30) #95
*grin* i heard the coyotes back home and they are a sorrowful sound. have heard seals barking at night here but not coyotes.
~MarciaH Tue, Dec 4, 2001 (00:36) #96
Oh man, Coyotes sound mournful and blood-chilling the first few times. It is always in the still of the night and these were in the empty lot maybe 100 meters away. I know they were happy, though, because there was yipping going on, too. I think they had gotten dinner and were inviting the family over for a feast. I never quite did get used to it. I was also awakened by a 4.5 earthquake which made me feel right at home. I announced to the darkness that it was 4.5 and went back to sleep. It turned out I was right, even without my bead-and-wire detector!
~MarciaH Tue, Dec 4, 2001 (00:37) #97
I have not heard seals barking, but I did get up the coast a ways and visited the sea lions. They absolutely bellow. Most impressive.
~AotearoaKiwi Tue, Dec 4, 2001 (04:10) #98
Hi all The one Wolf I know is a two legged beauty gracing this page. I hope to visit LA one day in a couple years time if you are still there. Rob
~MarciaH Tue, Dec 4, 2001 (15:29) #99
I'll be certain she has her rabies shots prior to your meeting!
~wolf Tue, Dec 4, 2001 (19:38) #100
