After various stages of picturesque scenery, self-made backdrops and cityscapes, I've now settled on the far more aesthetic option of a pretty babe picture. Every time I change my backdrop, I shall post it here, for your delectation :-) Anyone else with a babe for a backdrop is welcome to contribute!

and my new backdrop picture is....
~wolf Mon, Jul 13, 1998 (21:36) #2
is this one of those paper doll things that you attach paper clothes to? *grin*
~riette Tue, Jul 14, 1998 (02:19) #3
It's the revenge of the killer Barbie doll!
~mikeg Tue, Jul 14, 1998 (14:08) #4
well i'm in love, so there you go
~riette Tue, Jul 14, 1998 (15:36) #5
Gee, it DOES take alot to impress you then!!!!! How many women who look like that could possibly cross a man's path every day?! I mean I'm sure even Claudia Schiffer doesn't look like Claudia Schiffer when she wakes up on a morning.
~wolf Tue, Jul 14, 1998 (20:14) #6
yeah, and who'd wanna take all her makeup assistants with them on a hot date?
~riette Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (02:06) #7
I hate wearing make-up - hurts my eyes, highlights the bad points.
~mikeg Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (11:36) #8
it's not the makeup, it's the statuesque towering six-footed blondeness of it all :-)
~KitchenManager Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (11:58) #9
now, you're talking, Mike...(although prefer black hair and a congenital tan, myself, but you got the height right)
~mikeg Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (12:02) #10
congenital? wassat mean? tan = v. good :-)
~KitchenManager Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (12:06) #11
from birth...
~mikeg Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (12:15) #12
ahh
~riette Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (15:20) #13
SIGH Thank you so much for revealing all that. As statuesque goes, I'm 1.65m - makes me feel all good about myself hearing about six footers. Know what I mean?
~terry Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (15:33) #14
1.65 in feet and inches?
~mikeg Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (20:10) #15
2.54 cm = 1 inch that makes riette (burble, plink)...about 5'4"? about the height of my last girlfriend :)
~wolf Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (21:43) #16
riette, are you my twin? i'm 5'4" (or 1.65m)
~KitchenManager Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (22:16) #17
if so, which one is the evil one?...
~wolf Wed, Jul 15, 1998 (23:24) #18
haha!
~riette Thu, Jul 16, 1998 (02:15) #19
Ha, Wolf, you too?!?! Hilarious! Well, I'd rather be your twin than Claudia Schiffer's! Mike, thought you thought that beautiful women were evil . . . but as evil goes, she's STUNNINGLY evil, I suppose?
~stacey Thu, Jul 16, 1998 (17:13) #20
I'm ALMOST 5'4"... really WER, tall and brown... your preferred type, eh??? I never would've guessed! I suppose 'my type' has changed over the years depending on who I am with!
~mikeg Thu, Jul 16, 1998 (19:17) #21
i saw a tall willowy thing today, with lovely blonde ringlets. scheeewoooooooooooooooooooooooooon :-)
~wolf Thu, Jul 16, 1998 (21:36) #22
well, i can definately say i'm not a willowy type subject, can you say Aunt Bee? (well, that's how i feel sometimes-frumpy)
~KitchenManager Thu, Jul 16, 1998 (23:25) #23
Just for the sake of continuing conversation, Stace, you said: "really WER, tall and brown... your preferred type, eh??? I never would've guessed!" What would your guess(es) have been? (now, remember, my preference and my reality are quite different...)
~riette Fri, Jul 17, 1998 (02:21) #24
You mean the tall ones didn't want you?? (just kidding!) That's the trouble with those - if you want to be with a six footer, you're going to have to be an OVER six-footer yourself! Glad to hear you're small too, Stacey!! After all, dynamite comes in small packages, don't it?
~KitchenManager Fri, Jul 17, 1998 (02:36) #25
but, I'm six-two...
~riette Fri, Jul 17, 1998 (04:45) #26
Lord, don't say that - I might get too nervous to talk to you in the future. While I don't like tall women (for obvious reasons!!) I adore tall men!! I thought chefs were more on the medium side lengthwise - with big tummies from tasting their own delicious food. I'm alot more comfortable with that picture of you in my head, so, hunk or not, I'll just pretend your small and ugly, okay?
~wolf Fri, Jul 17, 1998 (16:21) #27
haha!!
~autumn Fri, Jul 17, 1998 (23:52) #28
They're pretty stunning in the photo above, but if I actually saw someone dressed like that on the beach, I'd laugh my ass off...
~stacey Tue, Jul 21, 1998 (21:33) #29
i dunno WER... short, voluptuous redheads with fiery tempers and huge tits... guess I was wrong...
~terry Tue, Jul 21, 1998 (21:51) #30
Man, with Mike gone, we gotta keep this place warmed up for him. Stacey, do you have any babes to recommend? wer? Riette.
~stacey Tue, Jul 21, 1998 (21:52) #31
ummm... for myself or for the rest of you guys?!?!
~KitchenManager Tue, Jul 21, 1998 (23:42) #32
both, of course! (and how did we arrive at that conclusion about my tastes, Stace?)
~riette Wed, Jul 22, 1998 (02:22) #33
Can't say I know any Babes. But I shall start looking at women with different eyes from now on . . . OOH, I feel so butch already!
~stacey Wed, Jul 22, 1998 (14:14) #34
hung out with some Rainbow Coalition women at the Courage Classic... they were in AMAZING shape, super friendly, no makeup and quite intelligent... If I were looking for a woman... that would be my type I believe. (WER... did "WE" arrive at that conclusion??? I thought I was wrong!)
~KitchenManager Wed, Jul 22, 1998 (14:32) #35
(*huff* ack...ok, how did you, in the singular, arrive at your conclusion?)
~terry Wed, Jul 22, 1998 (15:54) #36
They're a lot like Stacey.
~stacey Wed, Jul 22, 1998 (19:01) #37
huh?!?!? 'cept their type is other women! *laugh* (and they were in MUCH better shape than I!) dunno WER, just sounded like (visualized like) someone who would turn you on...
~KitchenManager Wed, Jul 22, 1998 (23:34) #38
in the sense that breathing and willing turns me on, I suppose that's true...like I said before, however, reality and preferences ain't never matched...and your guess was a lot closer to my reality...just curious how you got there from our conversations...
~stacey Thu, Jul 23, 1998 (19:41) #39
is the fiery temper the 'reality' check?
~KitchenManager Fri, Jul 24, 1998 (00:12) #40
no, but it is one that I seem to be able to teach/inspire... the short, voluptuous, big breasts fits the past the best... especially the short...on reflection, the other two best describe those that lasted the longest...
~stacey Fri, Jul 24, 1998 (00:12) #41
(now I am really confused... don't think we ever discussed this before)
~KitchenManager Fri, Jul 24, 1998 (00:12) #42
don't think we have either... care to meet for a beer?
~stacey Wed, Jul 29, 1998 (14:05) #43
I'd LOVE to. Somewhere outside where I can take my shoes off and stick my bare feet up on a weathered wooden bench or fence post. Or perhaps I could skate there!
~KitchenManager Wed, Jul 29, 1998 (18:51) #44
from CO? you go, girl!
~stacey Thu, Jul 30, 1998 (14:10) #45
THAT would be a PERFECT stupid human trick!!! (sent off the envelope of pics yesterday... FINALLY!)
~terry Thu, Jul 30, 1998 (16:52) #46
pics of . . . vous?
~KitchenManager Thu, Jul 30, 1998 (17:03) #47
yeah...wants me scan them and post them up in her topic...
~terry Thu, Jul 30, 1998 (17:30) #48
Cool!
~stacey Thu, Jul 30, 1998 (18:48) #49
pretty goofy pics and some of the kitties too!
~riette Wed, Aug 5, 1998 (14:13) #50
Looking forward to meet you face to face, Stacey!
~stacey Thu, Aug 6, 1998 (15:00) #51
I certainly enjoy putting faces to personalities!
~riette Sat, Aug 8, 1998 (02:22) #52
Oh, absolutely. And the few faces I've seen here so far look exactly as I thought they would. Amazing how much of one comes out just through one's writing or speaking or whatever.
