The Zapatistas of Chiapas, Mexico, took their war with the Mexican government to international media largely through the use of the Internet. Among their supporters are a group of students and instructors from the University of Texas who established an electronic platform for the Zapatistas called ZapNet. This forum explores the impact of ZapNet, the Internet, the media, and the court of world opinion on the ongoing Zapatista rebellion.
