I just helped Ames and Heather Doty create a new website for a remarkable
book on gems and minerals called "Love is in the Earth" by Melody. Just
Melody. No last name.
Ames and Heather intend to update her works and to provide mail order
requests for minerals and gems of all types. Ames is a fascinating
character who I've known for several years who has poured his heart and
soul in the world of gems and minerals. And his daughter Heather is
becoming very adept in the life sciences and in web design, she'll be
doing a lot of the heavy lifting on

Ames and Heather have an exciting project here. Ames spends about a solid
month every year at the world's largest gem show in Arizona and he
shuttles between AZ, California and Austin, Texas. The other night, Ames
and his daughter, Heather, stopped by and we set up the new web site. I
have attempted to put a 'placeholder' page there but Heather will be
updating it with her own content.

Yep, I thought the website might generate a lot of comment so I gave this
it's own topic, I'm biased though, cause I really like Ames and his
daughter Heather! I'll work extra hard to "pump it up".

I'm eager to see the book or reviews of same. I am assuming it is copiously illustrated with photographs?

Did you consider linking this with the books conference, Terry?

That would be one for Melody to answer! She's out of town right now.

Looking forward to her return. I have not had time to check this out, but if Terry thinks it is worthy, it must be.
