While this shareware suite of apps appears complete, further beta testing and updates are required befor this application should be considered as your main ftp client/server resource. When used on an intranet or internet with fast ethernet connections and/or dial-up networking, pentium and/or 486 computers with WIN95, the QVT FTP client consistantly fails both NLST and NLST-F commands to the QVT server. This lockup of the client requires WIN95 'end task' procedures to close the client. Apparently, the
erver continues to run. Additionally, the FTP Server fails to log in with QVT client if the server resides on a WIN95-PLUS machine. Any attempt to log to a QVT server on a WIN95-PLUS from a QVT client will immediately kill the server application.
Final Score:
not recommended unless your ftp client is other than QVT40
