How should we set up topics in this conference? I thought it might be a good start to setup different topics for different age groups. So I guess I will do that now. I am also an avid devotee of homeschooling. We are working on our seventh year. So I will also be setting up a homeschool topic. Feel free to create your own topics or jump in on these. I for one am a parent who does not have a lot of other parents (or even adults) to talk with, and would love to hear your opinions on things.

well, maddog, you're long gone, but I can tell you that my sister-in-law home schools their oldest son and I will sure tell her to look you up!

I'm trying to homeschool myself ... (not my kids!) I see Terry has lured you over here too.

actually Terry lured me here long ago... I have been so wrapped up in eminds, and this place seemed so slow by comparison that I just never came back. It's been so long I forgot what the interface was even like, so to be fair to Terry, I wanted to come over and check it out again. I had asked him at eminds if html tags were supported here but got no answer, so I thought I would come over here and give it a try. So, of course I went to the new minds topic, because I did not want to intrude on any conversations going on here. I couldn't do anything in that conference - not even create a topic, and there were none there to fool with, so.... hmmm This is weird Terry you say how bad you want everyone to come here, but when we come to see there is nothing but an empty conference and we can not even add a topic - puzzling well, since no one has been or is using this old topic of mine, I will experiment here - next post...

You can do fonts. If there's a specific problem with a tag we can enable it. What specific font tag was giving a problem. The yapp conference is aa good place to post requests for enhancements to our software. Dave gets an auto email of every thing that is posted there.

Hey, just dropping in to say hi -- these are nice, quiet chat rooms -- anyone out there?
~terry Thu, Jun 19, 1997 (18:23) #11
We're here but these aren't really chat rooms. These are conferences, not real time chats.
