What is the deadest conference on the spring and why doesn't it get off the ground?

~KitchenManager Fri, May 14, 1999 (10:46) #2
sure, why not? it's a restricted conference...
~terry Fri, May 14, 1999 (13:12) #3
Yep, it is. yapp has been pretty quiet, any chance of resusitation, wer? Have you looked into getting us linked back in to the other yapp systems?
~KitchenManager Fri, May 14, 1999 (13:21) #4
nope...not with the turmoil in my life recently...does sound like a good project for the weekend, though...
~aschuth Fri, May 14, 1999 (16:23) #5
Go, Wer! Go Go Go! (waving my pompoms)
~terry Fri, May 14, 1999 (18:20) #6
Wow, modjane and song are big losers. They go in the conference Hall of Shame.
~wolf Fri, May 14, 1999 (18:42) #7
oh please don't move poetry in there. writer's are such moody artists, we have to wait for our muses to come back (and they're so flighty) *grin*
~terry Fri, May 14, 1999 (19:12) #8
OK poetry gets a reprieve from the Conference Hall o' Shame, not yet ready for the conference graveyard.
~KitchenManager Fri, May 14, 1999 (19:33) #9
modjane was emptied out for it to be deleted... song never got started...hinted around about it to Alexander, though...
~aschuth Sat, May 15, 1999 (07:56) #10
...songs need typing. Typing needs time + the texts, both of which I do not have in great supply right now (btw, hinting at me ought to be more suggestive, like with a wad of cash, a stick to my head, or the same).
~wolf Sat, May 15, 1999 (08:26) #11
don't you need permission to reprint lyrics? i mean, especially for a public place like this?
~terry Thu, Sep 16, 1999 (09:47) #12
I think yapp is the deadest conference, mostly because it doesn't work. William was working on this but then he's on hiatus.
~aschuth Thu, Sep 16, 1999 (12:47) #13
But, isn't September a bit early for that? Late November to March, I always though... Must be that Texas thang: everything three sizes bigger!
~MarciaH Thu, Sep 16, 1999 (22:49) #14
You know, I have it on my list to enter when I am telnetting, but there is nothing to r n about so I pass it. I should go in via Windows and see what is there. I have no idea, and I am supposed to be learning about it and telnetting and vi to help someone upon his return from that foreign country...where did you say it was, Hiatus? Sounds Greek!
~terry Fri, Sep 17, 1999 (08:47) #15
If you're in telnet you can type a 'b' at the ok: prompt to see the list of topics. Or you can type read since -365 to read the last years comments.
~MarciaH Fri, Sep 17, 1999 (15:01) #16
Thanks for that...shall check today when I whisk into Spring the old-fashioned way.
~mikeg Sat, Feb 26, 2000 (14:09) #17
I think Babes is the deadest conference. That's probably because it's about really good-looking women in various states of undress. Obvious when you think about it. Not :-)
~MarciaH Sat, Feb 26, 2000 (14:25) #18
There has been some activity on and off all along, and lately there has been comments in MMM (mine) and the one you froze which we unfroze. Autumn's also had traffic. I'm working on it...Tis a good place!

Lively up with the Spring's webcam right this red hot second.
