Where are they now? What has happened to past Springfolks?
~sprin5 Tue, May 30, 2000 (08:33) #1
Nancy Palmarini (nan) has finished school and is rumored to be dipping her toes in to the cool spring water. She wants to help out Karen with drool buttons, but may need a new username and password. I don't have power to look up or change passwords of conference participants. She may go in to web design or Information Architecture now that she's got her traing in Interactive Communications. nan@ntr.net

Welcome back to Outer Spring ("other than Drool")...Geez, have I been here long enough that I remember you back when you were just one of the "girls"...yup! *Hugs* and let me know of your success. I need the same for a telnet account (Yeah, call Kat...sigh...)

What's happening with Autumn these days?
~MarciaH Sat, Jun 3, 2000 (23:50) #4
She's been hanging around the food conference.

Btw, I emailed Alexander today to check up on his well-being. I am concerned about Springizens when they don't at least lurk once in a while! I will let you know when I hear from him. I might have just brought a bunch of "different" lurkers onto Spring. When I signed up for Yahoo Messenger and voice chat I put as "my" webpage Geo's public/all and did some personal inviting as well. What I won't do to promote Spring! (Don't ask!) Incidently, the Voice chat worked very well with Maggie in England, and a 12 year old in Vancouver. Loud and clear and thoroughly hilarious

on the porch (sprin5) So, that *is* you ;-p I was wondering who that sprin5 person was... She wants to help out Karen with drool buttons, but may need a new username and password. Oh...must I? I've been trying to find some way around that. "nan" is so crisp and much more effective than "nan237" or whatever ;-p Can I just resign and then re-register using the name username? I don't have power to look up or change passwords of conference participants. Well, you wouldn't have to look it up or change it, as I do know what it is (at least I think I do...maybe my brain is fogged). I just need to have it activated.
~nan Sat, Jun 10, 2000 (20:28) #7
Actually, I just need to be able to FTP to my nan file (if it still exists, that is ;-p) and if not, then I need to have some kind of FTP permission so I can upload some stuff for drool. Okeedokee?

He can set you up - he did me and I transferred everything from the old to my hard drive then over to the new one. I think when the old server disconnected that was it! Where is Alexander? I emailed him and for the first time ever he did not respond. I can only hope that he is busy and happy and perhaps kidnapped by nubile maidens with lust for him in their hearts...
~sprin5 Sun, Jun 11, 2000 (10:22) #9
Poor guy, when I get my dsl I'm going to put the old servers back on line again ... not as the main site, but as an archive.

~MarciaH Sat, Jul 1, 2000 (22:02) #15
Um...Terry, are you ok? Have not heard of nia and have no clue what you are talking about. Who came into your life and everythings changed. Sheesh, we're always the last to know... Enjoy!
~sprin5 Sun, Jul 2, 2000 (09:37) #16
That was a comment I overheard, I wrote that on my Palm Phone so it's a bit garbled because I was using graffiti writing. It was a great party at Joni's place with mostly folks from the Nia Dance group in Austin. We swam out to a float and had a wonderful pot luck dinner. Joni and her husband Kenny started the Ommeletry Restaurant in Austin. They really have a dream place out there right on the edge of Lake Travis. Their house is like one of those handmade homes you see in coffee table books, with a floor of big tiles and all kinds of neat touches. No, I haven't gone south yet, I just have a hard time scrawmy pal so y'all will have to cut me some slack when I compose stuff in the field like this.
~MarciaH Sun, Jul 2, 2000 (14:30) #17
What a relief. I thought you were on some home made brownies or something... We'll be kind... It is fun to hear from you in the field!!!
~sprin5 Sun, Jul 2, 2000 (21:44) #18
"scrawmy pal" was a typo but I forget what was supposed to say.
~MarciaH Sun, Jul 2, 2000 (21:58) #19
I was wondering who was gonna be offended by that, but I just left it alone, being that it's Sunday and all that...

Where is Alexander? Where is Stacey? Jim Gross? Other inhabitants of Inner whose names temporarily escape me (until I go and look them up in the log in about fifteen seconds time...) It would be good to have those people back. We used to have a thriving little close-knit group.
~wolf Sun, Nov 26, 2000 (21:32) #21
i miss everyone too! and i'm so excited to see you back here, mike!! *HUGS*
~MarciaH Wed, Dec 6, 2000 (13:57) #22
I tried to contact Alexander without success. It is the first time he has not responded to my email. Have no idea what is happening with him. Stacey is busy in Colorado doing her own business; Anybody want to see what I do and try to make a little money too?? Check out www.mshow.com/millionaire. Our goal (as a company) is to test the limit of the software... we're trying to get as many as 10,000 simeltaneous log-ins on at least one show. Thanks! ~stacey Sat, Jul 5, 2003 (18:20) #36
ah... the scoop... There's the quick answer and the lengthy answer. Suffice it to say all is going pretty well and I'll begin detailing the intimacies of my life *grin* later! We've had some up-down issues with Ri but things are definitely looking up now!
~Baitman Sat, Jul 5, 2003 (21:32) #37

What happened to Heidi?
~terry Fri, Aug 1, 2003 (03:44) #40
Heidi?
~dot Mon, Jan 3, 2005 (12:13) #41
Heidi?
~MarciaH Sun, Oct 16, 2005 (19:58) #42
Heide decided Drool was taking up way too much of real life for her so she opted out. Others have quit from Carpal-Tunnel and others just got on with life.
