bioregion.com is a domain I recently registered to pull toether some local efrforts in organic food buying clubs and bartering efforts. It's also an effort to define our bioregion more clearly so we understand our watersheds and aquifers.

Could I get someone (Ray, hint, hint) to help create this as a Front Page enabled domain?
~ratthing Fri, Jan 29, 1999 (21:31) #2
sure, terry! i need a suspense date, though, or else i will never get to it.

Awesome, Ray. I'm open to ideas for this site.

I just sent a notice that we are putting this up out to the 200 or so folks on the bioregional mailing list in Austin asking for their ideas and input on the site.

~ratthing Wed, Feb 17, 1999 (22:26) #9
terry, i forgot all about this! you still need it done?
~terry Thu, Feb 18, 1999 (10:34) #10
Yep, but we need it on access.spring.net. I got up and made an annoucement about it at the recent Bioregional Congress so folks are already looking for it. But on access.spring.net, if you aren't set up there let me know!
~ratthing Thu, Feb 18, 1999 (14:01) #11
no prob, terry. just curious, why on access?
~terry Thu, Feb 18, 1999 (15:35) #12
Cause there's lots and lotsa disk space, which we don't have much of on www and barton. And it's a much faster and more powerful machine.
~KitchenManager Thu, Feb 18, 1999 (18:10) #13

~ratthing Thu, Feb 18, 1999 (21:16) #14

This is the place Terry created as the only Topic on Geo not created by me. I am grateful for that, Terry. Wish there was more interest from other people...! Actually, Bioregions got some very good traffic for a while until clashing personalities resulted in mass dispersion of posters. Alas...!
