Who has the most upscale menu?
~KitchenManager Sat, Oct 11, 1997 (19:51) #1
I wish I had enough money to answer this one! WER
~terry Sat, Oct 11, 1997 (21:10) #2
Have you heard any rumors?
~KitchenManager Sat, Oct 11, 1997 (22:24) #3
I can't even afford those, Terry! WER

Well, I went to Jeffrey's twice during very flush times. It is definitely upscale with prices to match. They serve exotic birds that you may never have heard of, and their are candles at every table. The menus were hand written. And no one's in a hurry.
~KitchenManager Sun, Oct 12, 1997 (23:57) #5
We have candles on our tables, too! WER

I don't get to frequent "upscale" places but in Denver they have "the Fort" on the foothills.

Readers poll winner: Jeffrey's Runners-up Louie's 106, Castle Hill Cafe Honorable Mentions Brio, Sullivan's Steakhouse, Hudson's on the Bend

Does Jeffrey's ... or any upscale place ... have private rooms where you could have sex while you eat?
~KitchenManager Sat, Nov 8, 1997 (11:36) #9
You can have sex in a restaurant?
~terry Sat, Nov 8, 1997 (18:46) #10
I did once in Louisville at a restaurant that had private rooms.
~stacey Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (11:13) #11
Not ever under the table at Mr. Gatti's?!? just teasing. FYI, I musn't be 'upscale' I've never been to any of the aforementioned restaurants.
~terry Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (11:45) #12
Never even thought of it till you mentioned it. Have you?
~stacey Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (12:10) #13
Not at Mr. Gatti's!! Have you SEEN how dirty their floors are?
~terry Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (12:22) #14
Yup. You have a good point. Where would you suggest?
~stacey Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (15:04) #15
a clean thick pile carpet with long opaque tablecloths so as not to encourage voyuers,
~terry Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (21:24) #16
Which upscale restaurant has this?
~stacey Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (09:44) #17
Like I said... I really don't qualify as 'upscale' so I'm relegated to have sex in other places. C'est la vie.
~terry Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (13:42) #18
Alright let's talk any which scale, can you comment on that?
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (14:18) #19
Or on this, or on that, or uh...
~stacey Thu, Nov 13, 1997 (09:46) #20
Actually having sex in a restuarant doesn't really appeal to me. UNLESS of course we're talking one of those I'm so f****** worked up and anyplace is a good palce as long as it's NOW. Then, heck... anywhere with a clean floor... or table... or bathroom... or kitchen counter... or patio... or balcony... Whooo! I'm thinkin' all sorts of things again!
~terry Thu, Nov 13, 1997 (10:43) #21
NOW? As in right this red hot second?
~KitchenManager Thu, Nov 13, 1997 (11:33) #22
Yes, do tell, my, um, curiosity has been aroused.
~stacey Thu, Nov 13, 1997 (12:57) #23
Arousal is my favorite sport! And yes, Paul, I get to chatting away and get too worked up for a day at work!
~terry Thu, Nov 13, 1997 (15:10) #24
Should we start a topic in sports called arousal?
~stacey Fri, Nov 14, 1997 (09:52) #25
Probably not... the food conference usually does it for me.
~terry Sun, Nov 16, 1997 (22:27) #26
Does it? Details?
~KitchenManager Sun, Nov 16, 1997 (23:05) #27
I hope that was a compliment, stacey?...
~stacey Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (09:53) #28
of course! Heck, half the time, this is what keeps me coming to work!
~KitchenManager Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (10:19) #29
Besides Zoe, this is usually the hight point of my day, also.
~stacey Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (10:25) #30
Speaking of your day... going to work today? Feeling better?
~KitchenManager Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (10:30) #31
At work now, and nope.
~stacey Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (10:34) #32
Sorry and sorry. C'mon man... someone's going to have to whip you in to shape! Or spank you. Or fondle you. Or, I'd better stop here.
~KitchenManager Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (23:04) #33
No need to stop, just go back to the innuendo topic so's we can play some more...
~stacey Tue, Nov 18, 1997 (11:03) #34
*smile* what an invite. the best offer I've had all morning!
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (02:47) #35
Sorry, and seems that it wasn't good enough... but that's okay, been contemplating our banter anyway. Why for do we carry on so?
~stacey Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (11:11) #36
I enjoy it personally, that would be why I carry on so. I could not answer as to your purposes, reasons and/or intents.
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (11:17) #37
Good point.
~stacey Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (11:31) #38
Thank you, affirmation is nice. Besides it's one of the first semi-complimentary things I've heard all morning (directed toward me or anyone else for that matter!)
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (11:35) #39
Sorry, I'll try and remember to only post on those days that evrything is all smiley.
~stacey Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (12:52) #40
You, sir, are crusin' for a virtual brusin'!
~KitchenManager Thu, Nov 20, 1997 (14:23) #41
Would you rather that I start initiatin' virtual consumatin'? Hugs and kisses in all the right places!
~stacey Fri, Nov 21, 1997 (10:48) #42
WooWoo! WER is back! Thanks for the virtual groping!
~KitchenManager Fri, Nov 21, 1997 (10:51) #43
Not that I'm expecting it, you understand, but where's the reciprocation?
~stacey Fri, Nov 21, 1997 (10:56) #44
(LOL) You'll have to catch me (running around the virtual playing field) first! *flirty giggle*
~KitchenManager Fri, Nov 21, 1997 (10:59) #45
A challenge? Or are we politely avoiding the issue?
~stacey Fri, Nov 21, 1997 (11:12) #46
You're chasing me around cyberspace and when you catch me (if you can) all hell is sure to break loose. We might have to go into seclusion for that event though -- this "other people wacthing" thing isn't really a turn-on.
