What is the romantic hot spot of your choice?
~KitchenManager Tue, Nov 4, 1997 (23:12) #1
Do you want to describe yours, stacey, or just leave it to our imaginations? WER
~stacey Wed, Nov 5, 1997 (10:38) #2
*giggle* I'm sure your imagination will be sufficient!
~terry Wed, Nov 5, 1997 (11:14) #3
Romantic hot spot: Mt Bonnell.
~stacey Wed, Nov 5, 1997 (11:17) #4
Yes, but it's difficult to find a tim when there are not a few dozen other people squaking about!
~terry Wed, Nov 5, 1997 (14:26) #5
How about one of the islands out on Lake Travis?
~stacey Fri, Nov 7, 1997 (09:29) #6
never been
~terry Fri, Nov 7, 1997 (10:36) #7
Pretty romantic, especially if you swim to them from a sailboat. Along with that moonlight swim.
~stacey Fri, Nov 7, 1997 (12:04) #8
oh my! My imagination's running wild with possiblities.
~terry Fri, Nov 7, 1997 (13:53) #9
Let it run wiiiild!
~stacey Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (11:14) #10
Well, there's that place just behind my ear, kinda of toward the top of my neck...
~terry Mon, Nov 10, 1997 (11:46) #11
Now that's a hot spot if I ever heard of one.
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (01:15) #12
And who do I call for reservations? (Haven't we gone through this somewhere else?)
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (02:30) #13
Chronicle readers say: TIE: Romeo's, Basil's Runner-up: Jeffrey's Honorable Mentions: Louie's 106, Oasis, Castle Hill Cafe
~stacey Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (09:51) #14
I like Castle Hill, the food is delicious but I don't agree with the romantic label. And yes, WER, we've been through this before! *smile*
~KitchenManager Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (11:47) #15
Thought so.
~terry Wed, Nov 12, 1997 (13:44) #16
deja vu time.
~stacey Thu, Nov 13, 1997 (09:52) #17
If it was good the first time, I usually don't mind going back.
~tisdel Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (16:37) #18
"caughs" "looks around" Well the hot spot for me is the Virgin Island's resort. While you listen to the romantic music, sitting in the hot tub.Under the moonlight, with a bottle of champaigne on ice. With a beutiful women next to me as I stroke her wet hair.......
~KitchenManager Mon, Nov 17, 1997 (23:30) #19
Your turn, stacey.
~stacey Tue, Nov 18, 1997 (11:12) #20
*still laughing* Brian, if you have ever tried, you MUST know wet hair is very hard to "stroke." A pretty scenario though. I gotta laugh because most of the seemingly sexiest places/situations are, in reality, not so great. For example, sex on the beach -- can you say "ouch?" Tiny, grainy pieces on all those soft parts is NOT fun. There are ways around this of course and making love in the mountains requires only a bit of foresight to be just as 'romantic' in reality as it is in theory. WER, as I said before (when we were talking about thunderstorms, torrential rains and balconies) my fantasies and ideal hot spots change with my moods. Some of the buttons on my body never do though! Sorry, Brian... welcome to the restaurant conference!!!
~terry Tue, Nov 18, 1997 (13:44) #21
How about sex in the surf? At the beach.
~stacey Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (11:15) #22
Those waves bring in lotsa scratchy sand!
~terry Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (12:16) #23
But they clean you off too!
~stacey Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (12:53) #24
there are places I'd rather not be exfoliated!
~terry Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (13:29) #25
So, a solution, a blanket beach party!
~stacey Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (13:30) #26
*grin* you just won't quit will you?
~terry Wed, Nov 19, 1997 (15:49) #27
Not when it comes to the beach!
~sprin5 Sat, May 20, 2000 (05:48) #28
I'm going to check out Castle Hill next.
~sprin5 Sat, May 20, 2000 (14:08) #29
test
~MarciaH Sat, May 20, 2000 (20:31) #30
Um...let us know how it is. (I was warned by a certain person dear to me to stay out of this conference. I thought I knew why - I was right...he was right!)...but to answer Terry, I dodge stuff I druther not read...
~MarciaH Sat, May 20, 2000 (20:34) #31
...where are you when I need a hug?!
~MarciaH Sat, May 20, 2000 (20:38) #32
There are so many romantic places here to "eat" that it would not be easy to choose just a few - but the scenery I prefer is overlooking a live eruption (can tell where my mind is - I typed that as love eruption the first time...)
~sprin5 Sat, May 20, 2000 (21:21) #33
OK the winner is. The envelope please. Basil's! Mirabelle, Carmelos Chez Nous are runners up. Honorable mention goes to Mars, Ararat, and Vespaio. What! No mention of Jeffreys! What a disgrace!
~MarciaH Sat, May 20, 2000 (21:49) #34
Nah! Volcano House overlooking Kilauea Caldera
