Good news, people!!! "Dawson's Creek" is just as dishy and addictive in it's second season as it was last year when it saturated our world through magazine covers, J. Crew tie-ins and Burger King-action figures (um, okay not that, but everything else). The show has matured nicely, adding several good characters to liven up the fictional town of Capeside. Unfortunately the least interesting character this season is Dawson, Mr. Pensive-Sensitive-Filmmaker (James Van Der Beek). Sucks to be him. This year, it's welcome to bizarro Capeside! Everything that happened last season has somehow been undone or reversed. Perfect couple Dawson and Joey (Katie Holmes) have broken up. Jen (Michelle Williams), who was all prissy and pining for Dawson, has become the big town ho who's partying, puking, and sporting an unfortunate haircut. Pacey (Josh Jackson), originally positioned as Dawson's loser friend, is a serious hottie who's working the whole tawdry last season I did my teacher thing --yowza.
