Tarot cards, astrology, numerology, tea leaves, palm reading, and all those other things used to predict the future.

i forgot to mention the crystal ball, the magic 8 ball, and things of that nature!

Ah! Here it is!!! Happy thought indeed! I am totally inept in the arts practiced in here, so I will be hoping for others to provide input for you. Congratulations on your two new topics. OOooommmmmmmmmm..........

*sitting in a yoga position meditating* .....*thump* huh? what? oh, glad you found it!! i haven't done any of these things either, oh, except the 8 ball. when i was pregnant with my daughter, we were wondering through a toy aisle and my husband picked up the ball. he asked it, it said yes and here we are!! tarots and all that kind of frighten me. i always anticipate the worst.

(oh, i might add that it was before i had the pregnancy test...i wasn't 9 months along wondering what in the h*** was going on with my stomach *grin*)

Glad to know that! After that long, you'd know it was not indigestion! *-lol*-

If you're interested in more info on tarot, runes and biblomancy ("random" opening of religious book and reading whatever passage you eye falls on for spiritual guidance) check out http://www.facade.com. It gives some general info and on-line demos. I wouldn't be too worried about an online reading unless you have the "touch" and can reachout across the internet to "connect" with creation to influence the cards. Just like singing, playing a piano, emphathy or other talents, we each are given certain gift. The gifts must be exercised to strengthen and train them. I can get on a piano and play chopsticks, but that's about my limit. So play with the internet stuff and have fun.

i always do the biblomancy thing and it always works. i squeeze the book hard and pray for guidance on whatever is happening and let it go. sometimes i've read the whole page but the answer was always there. i refuse to do tarot cards and getting my palm read. i always expect the worst and i don't wanna know about it!

Wolfie, guess that is why I never went for that sort of thing...besides, the power of suggestion just might make something dire come true...!

Wow, Wolf! That's so cool. I would like to be able to do that biblomancy thing.
~MarciaH #10
Me too! I am totally devoid of any of the stuff in here...mostly, anyway!
~wolf #11
all you have to do is believe.....
~MarciaH #12
I believe for Bibliomancy but do not wish for the others...I do not want to make them come true just because I believe what someone or cards say...
