just saw a documentary on fairies (sundance) and the people who believe in them. most of these folks were from ireland or scottland. had a few in canada. never heard of american fairies or of any legends that were passed down through native american lore. so whatcha think?

ok, the dude putting together the sundance documentary on fairies was actually moved to accept the idea of them. he suggested that as adults, the fairies of our childhood become alien and ufo theories. i found the film insightful and a wonderful idea that what we believe in our childhood doesn't have to be totally lost just because we become rational (i use this term loosely) adults.
do fairies run along the lines of angels? there are people that will hurt you if you put down angel theories. albeit, fairies aren't mentioned in the Bible like angels are but could they be the same?
