unidentified flying object: could be anything that you don't recognize at first. but what about ufo's that don't turn out to be balloons escaping from the hands of children? found a neat website where you can report sightings and catch up on all the latest ufo information...the center for ufo sightings.... http://www.cufos.org/

is it possible to be an alien and not know it? (theoretically i mean)
~KitchenManager #7
you will, in theory I believe, eventually know, but there can be large periods of "amnesia"
~pmnh #8
yes yes i think i know what you mean (though i cannot be sure)
~KitchenManager #9

ok, not to panic anyone or anything, but i just saw the strangest thing in the sky. 1950 (7:50PM), 28 Apr 99, clear sky, 4 white cylinder looking crafts moved slowly across the sky heading north (coming from the south). they looked like aircraft bodies without wings. my neighbor and i were outside when they flew by. they were moving slowly and i didn't see any wings nor hear any sound. so what in the hell were they? i'm on cnn right now and nothing (you know how they know everything). these things were going the same direction. i've never seen aircraft passively flying by like that befor . soon after, i did see a regular aircraft fly by at approximately the same height and left an airtrail and wings could be seen. got any ideas? so until i can figure out what they were, they're ufo's!!

Blimps? They work on a lighter-than-air device called Cargo Lifter - a proper airship Zeppelin style... Also, the military has stub-winged recon-drones that got some more publicity as these unmanned devices are used to do recon in e.g. Kosovo. Look like cruise missiles, but move much slower. If they were proper UFO's , they'd be unmanned to, right? 'Coz they'd be *aliened*!
~wolf #15
well, they were darned slow to me...ufo's are manned and oh, wait, i get it, they're aliened, right? haha!!

1955 (7:55PM) 20 May 99 Saw one white cylinder object as before (28 Apr) heading in the same S to N direction. Had time to fetch my binoculars and saw two wings on the vessel, only they were pretty short in comparison to the flying vehicle. Once again, no flying trail was left behind and there were numerous other identifiable aircraft in the area. This object was flying below their altitude. pretty spooky, huh?

~wolf #19

~stacey #20
satellite sattalite sattelite (how in the fudge do you spell the frickin word??????)
~wolf #21
that low, though? your first spelling was correct, even though it looks funny!
~stacey #22
perhaps it was outta orbit and preparing to crash soundly into the gator pool!
~wolf #23
haha!
~aschuth #24
"Satellite of Love, Satellite of Love, Set - a - light of..." Remember this?
~stacey #25
nope. clue me in...
~wolf #26
1940 (7:40 PM CST) 21 May 99 Lone white cylinder vehicle crossed the sky again. This time I got two pictures, but my camera doesn't have zoom, so you'll only see a dot and me going "this was it, see!" I could make out wings and one aileron (or however that's spelled). No distinguishing marks, sounds, nor lights.
~wolf #27
ok, saw another one just now and really got a good look at it through the binoculars. it's an aircraft, definately (and not a top secret military plane nor a ufo). well, so much for that excitement!
~KitchenManager #28
maybe the last one was just a governmental decoy...
~wolf #29
i'll post the pics as soon as they're developed and you'll see for yourself!

Stacey - response #24: Go through your Lou Reed records, I think it was on the second one (the one with "Walk on the Wild Side"). If you don't have any records by Lou, get Mr B. to include buying all of them together with the subscription in the contract.
