Manny Hattan's is up by the Arboretum. But it's menu is too meaty.

One of my faves in Austin is Little Deli over on Woodrow.

NeWorlDeli gets good reviews on Yahoo Travel. 5 starts. But I haven't tried it. It's at 4101 Guadalupe Street. It looks inviting from the street, I've driven by it upteen times. The 1/2 sandwhich 1/2 soup order and the Thai wraps got good reviews. As did the broccoli cheese soup.

You know, often overlooked and taken for granted, Wheatsville Food Coop has a very good deli. They have sandwiches, soups, salads, tacos, smoothies and some creative stuff. They've been my member coop for over 20 years. And you can hang out on the outer reaches of the drag on their covered patio.
