Golf. One of the worlds most popular and fastest growing sports. My
sister just started a company called Bay Area Golf Travel and I just
registered the name golftravel.net for her web site. These days
spectactor golf seems to boil down to two words, Tiger Woods. Is he
going to take the game to new levels and bring it to the masses? Or is
he overhypped. Nike seems to be betting on him pretty heavily (50
million bucks worth).
Do you play? What are your favorite courses? Favorite golfers? How
often do you get out on the links? What kind of clubs do you use?

Tiger Woods is off to a pretty good start;.
I heard in one of his first tournaments he had something like 6 birdies in a
row. He had a good tournament last week (although it was rain shortened).
He is doing very well in his first three tournaments. He finished 11th
last week and won $37,500.
In his last tournament, he wrapped his six iron around a tree when he
went into the water and two bad holes kept him from the win
If Tiger gets in the 150th money position, then he is entitled to an
"unlimted number of sponsor exemptions". If he makes 125th he gets his
tour card. After 3 pro tournaments he is 166th on the money list.

First of all Tiger Wood has already proven he will go down as one of the great players in the game. 3 Amature Titles
What about the NCAA investigation into his turning pro?????????

Tiger Woods shot a rocking and rolling 65 which may be a record for the US
Open at Pebble.
Daly lost it on the 18th with a 14. Makes me feel not so bad about some
the holes I've played. Man, I hope he doesn't get too drunk.
Play got suspended. The US Open is gonna be good!

That guy (Daly) needs medical attention as welll as psychological help.
Play suspended for fog... It really IS gonna be a good one!
