Good? Bad? Indifferent? (And, did it come true or was it just another empty promise to be washed down with the evening's alcohol consumption?)
~KitchenManager #1
Your mood is calm and you seem content to go along with what others want. Fortunately, others seem to want much the same as you do, so there shouldn't be any conflict of interest.
~autumn #2
Sounds like the perfect April Fools horoscope for you, wer!
~KitchenManager #3
Amen. Washing down today's pack of lies with a shot of Hennesy as we speak...
~KitchenManager #4
You're in a rather secretive mood today, and with good cause. A delicate mood of romance has gripped you and you'll drift off into a world of daydreams again and again. Your thoughts of the way things could be may be rather unrealistic, but it does help to engender a passionate atmosphere, which will be fulfilled...in the short term, at least. A person you've admired from afar may respond subtly today.
~KitchenManager #5
as everyone probably already guessed, this one was way off...
~KitchenManager #6
Friday's was: Your confidence could take a slight knock today. Someone may upstage you or make you feel small, and you may wish you had more money or status. Remember that materialism isn't everything. It was right on... Today's is: There is no point in concentrating on any kind of objective today because fate conspires to mess everything up! You may feel as though you are trying to walk with marbles in your shoes or talk with a mouth full of cherry pips. In short, try to relax and make the minimum of effort in any direction. We'll see...
~autumn #7
Uh...what's your sign?
~KitchenManager #8
Temporarily Out Of Service
~KitchenManager #9
Saturday's was true to its word... Here's the one for Sunday: Rely on your instincts today. Things are changing around you and it may be hard to work out just what your next move should be. Try to go slow and avoid committing yourself to anything that will work against you in the long term. Your mood is suprisingly sexy today, so if you want one area of your life in which to try something new, this could be it!
~stacey #10
did'ya try something new?!?!
~KitchenManager #11
Nope, it was a bust...
~KitchenManager #12
Today's was: Everything seems a bit dull and mundane to you today, and your rather restless mood will make you yearn to visit far-flung places. If your lover suggests you start planning a trip you'll jump at the idea, and practical matters such as time or money will be beside the point. Didn't happen...however, the alochol consumption did. Dr. Hennessey saved the day (and it only took four doses...)
~KitchenManager #13
Ok, the official one for Tuesday was: A father figure may be especially to you or, alternatively, an authority figure will offer you some good advice and a helping hand. Your mind is full of great ideas and fortunately the world seems keen to hear what you have to say. You could even find yourself on the radio, on television or being quoted in papers! Yeah, right... can't wait for tomorrow's...
~stacey #14
send me the article!
~KitchenManager #15
I don't have your address... Wednesday's: You may yearn for travel only to find that you are stuck in a rut. An intelligent chat with someone you respect might alleviate your boredom ... if only such a person could be found! All in all, today could be rather dull.
~autumn #16
Why, looky here, it just perked up! And you only had to come to the spring...
~KitchenManager #17
Thanks, Autumn
~KitchenManager #18
Autumn, thankfully, blew today's up, Thursday's is: Today is one of those strange days when the planets are not making any major aspects. Astrologers call this kind of day 'void of course', meaning that the Moon's path, or course, is unaspected. There is nothing special about this, except for the fact that it's not worth starting anything new. Leave any important projects for a more auspicious time.
~stacey #19
'void of course' hmm... sounds like we have all encountered that at one time or another. My address? My physical address? 3857 S Clarkson Englewood, CO 80110 And I know you have the electronic addresses (several of them) so you've no excuse now!
~KitchenManager #20
I always got an excuse...
~stacey #21
yeah, but at least I know they're flimsy now!
~KitchenManager #22
(as flimsy as what I'd like to see you in???) Anyway, Friday's was: Domestic bliss is on the cards. The Moon unites with Neptune to provide a happy and harmonious atmosphere, for you and all those within your family circle. Nope. Wrong. Uh-uh. Not even close.
~KitchenManager #23
Today's Full Moon puts the spotlight on your career. There have been a lot of changes going on around you and within you. Now you have to decide exactly what you want, and in which direction you should proceed. Before you can act you need a plan, so take some time to make sure that your strategies for progress are workable. Employers and authority figures will be impressed by your drive and determination.
~KitchenManager #24
Didn't happen that way at all...
~stacey #25
flimsy, eh?!?! *smile*
~KitchenManager #26
something like that...
~KitchenManager #27
*sigh* anyway... Today's was: Many of your most cherished desires take a step nearer to fulfilment as the red planet Mars enters your horoscopic area of hopes and wishes. You'll be endowed with the energy and drive to see your aims through to a successful conclusion. Male friends are especially important now, as they can point you in directions that you hadn't previously considered. This period should see a rapid upturn in your social life. Excitement follows where Mars leads! (it was close enought to today to inspire false hope, I fear...)
~KitchenManager #28
Tuesday's (which was right on, by the way): Your dreams of freedom and irresponsibility have to be put on the back burner today. Venus's harsh aspect to Pluto shows that the daily drudgery is getting you down, yet it would be unwise to fly the nest. Be patient.
~Wolf #29
gemini: avoid sharp pointy things yes, i got poked with four shots, four, I say....(you know, like typhoid, etc..)
~KitchenManager #30
now, that's a party!!!! (do they need kissies to make them feel better?)
~Wolf #31
yup *sniff*
~KitchenManager #32
don't suppose "they" would be allowed to do that right now, either, would "they"?
~Wolf #33
oh, you read that? hell no, they're in the dog house *wink*
~KitchenManager #34
well, if'n I was in the neighborhood...
~Wolf #35
aw thanks, wer *hugz*
~KitchenManager #36
de nada, mi amiga... (although where would you be if he walked in while I was kissing your shot spots?)
~Wolf #37
shot spots would be the least of my problems then *giggle*
~KitchenManager #38
probably mine, too...
~Wolf #39
*giggle*
~KitchenManager #40
Wednesday's: Intense feelings could upset your digestion today. You may be too excited to eat, or unhappy and upset...literally. For some of you, the events that trigger this will be attached to your work situation while, for others, there could be a health problem on your mind. While the good news will be excellent, the flip side could be fairly unpleasant. (gee, doesn't today sound like fun...)
~Wolf #41
well? (btw, shot spots still hurt *sniff*)
~KitchenManager #42
thankfully, it was way off...*whew* does they need a good rubbin'?
~Wolf #43
good! no, but an owie smooch will work *tears well up*
~KitchenManager #44
*smoochie-smoochie-smoochie-smooch*
~Wolf #45
aw t'anks, feels much better now *smile*
~KitchenManager #46
so, fair is fair, howya gonna make me feel better?
~Wolf #47
dunno, where's da boo-boo?
~KitchenManager #48
can you give me a second? (g'night, Wolf)
~KitchenManager #49
Thursday: It is only after making a supreme effort to improve your circumstances that you will be able to sit back and look for something more absorbing on which to focus your energies. Today's stars will bring a stop-go feeling to your closest relationships, and it may be hard for you to define what you or your lover relly want from each other. (now, this sounds like fun...)
~autumn #50
Ahh...as opposed to the total clarity which prevails most days....
~KitchenManager #51
methinks thou art picking upon me...
~stacey #52
and MEthinks you are very perceptive! *laugh*
~KitchenManager #53
Friday's The Moon is in excellent aspect to the Sun which boosts your vitality and brings career opportunities. You can cope with anything now, and win through with ease. You're in tune with yourself, your goals are clear and you'll be able to achieve them with time to spare...
~stacey #54
ohmigod! a coping day!!! take notes for me please!
~KitchenManager #55
you don't wanna read 'em... You will be more at ease with yourself today than for some time. You may have been pushing yourself too much, or trying too hard to reach a particular objective. This is fair enough: you are in an ambitious frame of mind and there's something you want to achieve, but you're being told to slow down and give your nerves a rest.
~Wolf #56
Per The Times and Jacqueline Bigar: Gemini: ***** (this means a dynamic day) Someone honors you and makes you feel wonderful. Accept a special offering or compliment. Others love you. Take time to share, whisper in another's ear or just talk. Tonight: Must I spell it out? BTW wer, where do you find your horrorscopes?
~KitchenManager #57
In a little book by Sasha Fenton and Jonathan Dee. Sunday's: The lunar aspect to Saturn inclines you to take a rather negative view of life today. Both career worries and relationship disagreements could be blown our of proportion if you aren't careful.
~Wolf #58
uh-oh
~autumn #59
BTW, Wolf, how did things go yesterday? (*wink wink*)
~Wolf #60
no where fast (was a major grumphead, me, that is)
~autumn #61
Awww, better luck next time the planets are aligned in your favor!
~KitchenManager #62
This is an excellent day both for you and your family. The two most fortunate planets, Jupiter and Venus, combine their forces to lift your spirits and add to your quota of love and happiness. Your dreams take a step closer to fulfilment as the planets encourage you to express your desires.
~Wolf #63
woohoo! sounds like a good one!
~KitchenManager #64
yeah, well, we all know how those end up with me...
~KitchenManager #65
Wednesday: It's obvious that you are well thought-of in your place of work, but when you realize just how highly you are regarded may come as something of a shock. A boost to your income and self-confidence go hand in hand today.
~Wolf #66
ooo, that sounds promising. mine probably said stay in bed!
~KitchenManager #67
thought it implied that the other day...*wink*
~Wolf #68
when was that? *wink back atcha*
~KitchenManager #69
Saturday, response #56...
~Wolf #70
yeah right! like that would ever happen....
~KitchenManager #71
Today's The most casual conversation will be fraught with misunderstanding today. If it stops there then all's well and good, but if serious issues are discussed you could leave others with totally the wrong impression. Keep everything light and don't be drawn into committing yourself to uncertain schemes.
~autumn #72
They should just run that one everyday under Scorpio.
~autumn #73
They should just run that one everyday under Scorpio and I would be a big believer in astrology.
~KitchenManager #74
bad day, Autumn? (both me kids be Scorpios...)
~autumn #75
I'm afraid Response 71 is going to be the story of their lives!! (BTW, what are the dates? I'm Nov. 2)
~KitchenManager #76
the 8th and 14th, I hope... my little book says this about Scorpio moms: These mothers are either wonderful or not really maternal at all, although they try to do their best. If they take to child rearing, they encourage their offspring educationally and in their hobbies. These mothers have no time for whiny or miserable children but they respect outgoing, talented and courageous ones and they can cope with a handful.
~autumn #77
Oh, geez, you're gonna make a believer out of me yet!!
~KitchenManager #78
Thursday's: There's a touch of deception around at the moment, and you can't blame anyone but yourself! Gossip is rife and the rumours all add up to a wrong conclusion. In other words, two and two don't make five! If you're concerned about your security, such as the future solvency of a firm, don't panic just yet. Have confidence, as your fears are likely to be unfounded.
~Wolf #79
oh wer, you should hear what i heard about you *grin*
~KitchenManager #80
from?!?!?!!!
~Wolf #81
*heehee*
~stacey #82
do tell! do tell! (none of this private emailing crap! let's be PUBLIC!) *laugh*
~KitchenManager #83
The charitable impulses that make you such an endearing soul become a liability at the moment! Mercury moves into your eleventh solar house now, making you the target for every plausible rogue with a story of woe. You are more than prepared to help but make sure that any cause you support is genuine. At leasst you are assured of a convivial atmosphere with friends over the next few weeks.
~KitchenManager #84
Saturday's: You must be careful today because the mixed rays of Mercury and Neptune confuse issues abominably. The unwise words of a friend could be taken as gospel truth which will mislead you. Anything begun today may be abandoned when common sense returns.
~KitchenManager #85
Thursday: The movement of the Sun into your solar twelfth house suggests that the next month will be rather quiet and solitary. You may be quite busy on a day-to-day basis but behind this lies a need to retreat and reflect upon your progress. This is a wonderful time to repay anything that is owed to others, in the form of money, goods or obligations.
~stacey #86
this mean I'm getting that long ago promised back/neck rub?
~KitchenManager #87
you gonna be in arm's length anytime in the next month?
~stacey #88
when I pick you up from the airport, I suppose!
~KitchenManager #89
*lol*
~KitchenManager #90
The extra-lucky can look forward to a windfall or prize today. The influence of Uranus ensures that this will be an unexpected event that heads straight for your pocket. Follow your instincts and you won't go wrong!
~autumn #91
Hot damn! Better get that powerball ticket...
~KitchenManager #92
The day-to-day duties expected of you seem far too heavy a burden. The smallest task becomes a mammoth bind, taking you away from your imaginative inner world. Don't build molehills into mountains...just take the day as it comes.
~Wolf #93
you sure that wasn't mine? (and a few days early, I might add)
~KitchenManager #94
Thursday's: You may notice that a friend is being a constant drain on your resources, both emotionally and financially. This has to stop, because it's about time this person stood on their own two feet! What were you saying, Wolf? *wink*
~riette #95
Where do you read those horrorscope things, hey? I wonder where people come up with that nonsense; the scariest thing is that they're sometimes right! I once read the personality description of Sagitarius, and was horrorfied - made me sound almost as b ad as I really am!
~Wolf #96
know what you mean riette! wer *sticking my tongue out at you*
~KitchenManager #97
hehehe...
~KitchenManager #98
actually, this one is for the week of June 26-July 2... The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Crabs, of which I am the official spokesmodel, is ecstatic that you've kept your suffering to a minimum while throwing off your chains. In our opinion, you've earned the right to sit in your underwear watching MTV and scarfing down chocolate eclairs for the next three days without feeling a bit of guilt. However, we earnestly hope you use your grace period in a more ennobling way, such as eating a ripe apricot out of the hand of your secret admirer under a spreading oak tree, or asking the three people who understand you best to describe in detail what's most wonderful about you, or setting out on a trip that resemble's Dorothy's visit to Oz.
~Wolf #99
i luvs the puppy!! c'mere, you little sweetie.....*smooooooch*
~riette #100
This is turning richly bizarre!
~riette #101
Wer, get that puppy outta here - think Wolf wants to have him for dinner . . .
~stacey #102
or mate with him (!?!?!)
~Wolf #103
now that would be too low even for a big bad ole wolf like me. he's way tooooooo young, oh but he's fresh meat...hmmmm, no he's too darn cute.....
~KitchenManager #104
all the better for eating, right?
~Wolf #105
*lol*
~riette #106
I'd love to rescue the poor little dear from you, but then he might have the little guinea pigs for dinner, and they're so sweet. They're sitting on my lap, sharing my cherries . . . more competition. Sigh.
~KitchenManager #107
Monday the 13th's... My, you are in a restless mood today! If you can jump on a plane, leave the country and escape to a deserted beach, then do it! If, like the majority of people, you can only dream of such things, then take a mooch around your local travel agent and see what's on offer for later in the year. Your energy levels are high and you are keen to discover potential in other realms of life, too.
~riette #108
OH, no need to spend a $hitload of money, Wer, you can stay in my flat on the desert beach - you'll love it! Go on, take that holiday, get on that plane, leave your kitchen at home and eat out in a place where one can actually afford it!
~wolf #109
(and bring your spear) just kidding, riette! mr wolf and i joke about this when we go out to dinner and it takes absolutely forever for them to bring the entree. we say, what, did they have to catch the fish, kill the cow, or whatever fits the situation. my horrorscope said something like i've got too many fires burning and that i should keep my big mouth shut.
~riette #110
OH, you're absolutely right, Wolf! Going out to dinner can take anything from two to six hours . . . It's a lazy, layed-back place where no-one gets impatient, everyone has time - that's what I love about it. It's such an easy, mellow pace to adapt to. Sometimes when evening comes, you think to yourself: now what have I done today? And the answer is: had breakfeast till 19:00.
~KitchenManager #111
Tomorrow's... This is a good day to look forward rather than back, and to try to make a better future for ourselves and our children. Long- term plans of any kind will be successful, but start work on them now.
~riette #112
OOh, that's deep. It is also from Bjrn's guide to Philosophy - THE ESSAYS . . .
~KitchenManager #113
Saturday, August the First's: Today you seem to be in a party mood, and you'd far rather be happily engaged in stimulating conversation with your friends than getting on with your daily tasks. Unfortunately some things cannot be put off, but we think we can guarantee an enjoyable evening!
~terry #114
From the Microsoft page Infospace Horoscope: InfoSpace Horoscopes Sagittarius Even the tame and sober might be feeling all partied out. The Scorpio Moon fills you with exhaustion and vague dissatisfaction. Take a rest or just move slowly. There's no reason to push yourself right now.
~autumn #115
That sums my personal philosophy.
~terry #116
And today we have: Economize in the nonessential areas of your daily life. It's hard to look at other people and not attempt to guess at their net worth. Call in your debts today, especially those that are past due. Guess I gotta pay some bills today. I knew that. And I have four rentors past due. And I have to pay our Internet access bill that's due every quarter ($1299).
~KitchenManager #117
and mine says: The conjunction of Venus and Mars in your area of personality makes sexual attraction a real possibility today. The combination of the two foremost male and female planets must spell love, or at least powerful infatuation. Only time will tell if this is going to be a lasting influence in your life, but at least it's fun while it's here! (and I'm going to the coast for three days here in a minute...)
~riette #118
Perhaps that means your wife's going to put on some skimpy bikini, and you'll be infatuated with her all over and ever anew again.
~stacey #119
How was the coast?!?! The ONLY problem with Colorado... completely landlocked!
~riette #120
Are there no lakes there?
~stacey #121
plenty of lakes but no beaches... interesting fact... Colorado is one of only two state in the US where water flows out of but not into! (Hawaii is the other one)
~riette #122
How very strange. And you live in this Colorado place?
~stacey #123
*smile* yep. The state is at a rather high elevation all around and so all the water flows down from the mountains, into our lakes and streams and then out to other (lower altitude) states...
~KitchenManager #124
Sunday's: You may find yourself having to face the sad fact that not everyone thinks in the same way as you. Your philosophy of life is very personal and it may not be anywhere near the views of those whom you live or work amongst.
~terry #125
I was going to get mine from http://home.microsoft.com but all I get is: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4' Variable is undefined: 'TimeDifs' /Default.asp, line 572 Talk about a HorrorScope.
~terry #126
So I went to InfoSpace and they still had yesterday's: Sagittarius August 8, 1998 A great day for communicating your ideas and opinions to others; when even those who consider themselves superiors will be hanging on your every word and asking you for input. You may even surprise yourself with some original thought or plan which you did n't know you had in you. You have a visionary zeal about you today which will make everyone around you sit up and take notice. Others will appreciate what you have to say. A parent or child could seek you out to have a private talk, try not to be surprise by any revelations. And Sunday's: Your genius is matched only by your spaciness. People find you funny without necessarily understanding a word you say. Get others to tell you their stories so you can pick and choose the best and increase your repertoire. At a certain level, all experience is connected, so keep your eye on the other members of your group when making plans. Expand your horizons by taking on something new; a dance class, a computer program, or a new artistic means of expression. Learn from other people's mistakes.
~terry #127
(scribbled)
~terry #128
(scribbled)
~riette #129
HA-HA!!! Your day sounds more and more like a default to me!
~terry #130
I'm starting out my day with a dance class today.
~riette #131
A dance class!! What type of dancing? Sounds like a nice way to start a default day.
~terry #132
It is. It's called Body Choir.
~riette #133
Never heard of that. How does it work? Something to do with getting all your body parts to sing together?
~terry #134
You're on track. A lot of the dancers their are into Gabrielle Roth. It's free movement, a lot of body contact, intimacy, and warm, good vibes.
~riette #135
Cool! So you get to feel your partners' thighs while pretending to dance - no wonder you're so keen on these classes!
~terry #136
Most perceptive, Riette. Today's ... You won't get very far without the support of friends or family, so don't leave behind the people that you love. Someone else's reality becomes far more important than your dream. Remind yourself who you're working for. What once seemed like a short haul is now an impossible distance. Can you still make the trek? Actively listen to the metaphors of great literature and the moral of every story and consider how these lessons can be applied to your own life. Look for lost items in the most obvious places.
~riette #137
I'll go look under the bed for my missing necklace then.
~KitchenManager #138
whose bed? Tuesday's... It can't fail to be a lucky day when there's such an excellent angle between Jupiter and Venus. These two planets cast their helpful influence over travel and create a deepening of understanding. A love affair that starts now has the most favourable chances. Be adventurous and get out into the world - there's nothing to fear.
~riette #139
Except if you're married!
~terry #140
What did you say your sign was, Riette. (thinking ree head' now!)
~riette #141
No idea, Terry! But my birthday is 9 December1973 - what does that make me?
~terry #142
You're a Sagitarius, just like me. So the horrorscopes that I post apply to you as well. Ready for another one?
~riette #143
Of course yes!!! What does a Sagitarius do? On the little pictures, I mean. Which one is it?
~terry #144
You are on fire, and you are in no hurry to extinguish it. Lust and inspiration turn your life into an almost unbearable sensory feast. Naked desire appears on the faces of strangers. You are dangerous and happy to make the first move and the second. Getting a lot done in a little bit of time is your specialty. Romantic interludes and creative fun and energy are positively spinning out of control. A special bonus or won contest may grace you with a bit of luck.
~riette #145
That doesn't sound like me at all.... Would you like to go for a roll in the hay? BIG SMILE
~autumn #146
I think Sagittarius is an archer...
~KitchenManager #147
usuall depicted as a centaur, as well...
~wolf #148
alright, are there any luny geminis out there? or am i the only one? (oh, but i won't be alone seeing as how i'm a "twin")
~terry #149
I'd have to say I had an engaging time with a very good woman friend tonight. We went to see the new Gary Sinese and Nicholas Cage movie. It was a good night. Now, let's see what's in store for us Sag's tomorrow, Riette. Your mood is an inspiration to children. Adulthood doesn't have to be a boring proposition after all. Playing games is research and development in its purest form. Delight your childish side with something silly, like a giant bouquet of balloons. Borrow someone else's children for an outing to the zoo or the playground, followed, of course, by ice cream afterward. A bit of unplanned travel may be dropping some getaway tickets into your hands at some point.
~riette #150
I'm sure that is absolutely accurate in your case, Terry! And in mine, well: no way, Jos! Only travelling I'm doing is to stick the poor kids into their playgroup, so I can work. Sigh. But we had yesterday together, and while there were no bouquets of balloons, we each had a mountain of ice cream in town. (It's damned hot over here.) Glad you had such a nice time last night, Terry. She's a lucky girl, I think.
~terry #151
I'm a lucky guy. Haven't found any loaner children yet, just working away!
~riette #152
Perhaps tomorrow's horrorscope will be more accurate. And a horror-scope it's going to be: Elza and I have to have some stiches removed from her forehead and my finger.
~KitchenManager #153
Wednesday's: Your status is about to be hiked up to fresh heights. You may be on the point of being promoted at work or gaining recognition in some other sphere of life. Even within the family, you could start to be seen as a person of substance and importance. Nice change for the better, isn't it?
~riette #154
ha-ha!!! THat's hilarious! To be seen within the family as a person of substance and importance; when my kids see me, all their little eyes say, is: FEED US!!!
~terry #155
They see you as a person with important food substances!
~riette #156
Yep, that's me! Food Factory Walton's the name! So what will today bring for us, Terry? Did you go to the movies again last night?
~terry #157
No movies last night. I had several meetings with prospective room mates. A lady from Japan and another from Morrocco. Todays: Sagittarius You probably had very vivid dreams last night and you're still feeling a bit dreamy. Your energy will be high today but there may be something which is not quite right -- something you cannot put your finger on. Keep busy and it will pass. Try to bury your head in the sand, or, failing that, in work. In fact, you can get a lot done today if you keep your nose to that famed grindstone. A co-worker may be asking you to take on part of an onerous task; it's not your job but you could make a few friends if you did your share.
~riette #158
You only consider ladies for room mates? Clever man! Hmm - horroscope not too far off. I did have weird dreams last night, which left me tired, and a bit out of sorts today. Started a new picture, but I'm unhappy with it, yet don't want to just throw away a brand new canvas. What a pain. At least I managed to post a picture in art - what a cheering thought! HURRAH!! And is your day going according to the stars?
~terry #159
Pretty good, I'm plugging away. And don't forget those quotes around your url's.
~riette #160
Quotes around my url's? Which quotes? I'll probably find out in art.
~terry #161
The quotes before http and at the end of the url before the closing angle bracket.
~KitchenManager #162
Thursday's: The entry of Venus into its natural home will do your financial fortunes the world of good over the next couple of weeks. This is the start of a profitable time in which money will come to you more easily. The true value of things also becomes an issue now, and you'll realise that quality of life is equally as important as making cash. You'll desire tasteful surroundings and comfort while Venus remains in your house of possessions.
~KitchenManager #163
http://www.RealAstrology.com/ gives Cancer this one for the Week of August 13, 1998 When Henri Matisse's painting "Le Bateau" was first shown at New York's Museum of Modern Art in 1961, it was mistakenly hung upside-down for a month and half. I have reason to believe that a beautiful part of your own world is similarly inverted right now. Are you perceptive enough to spot the transposition? Are you brave enough to admit it and shrewd enough to correct it? Or is it so painful to deal with this small mistake that you'll allow it to mushroom into a gaping, long-term error?
~KitchenManager #164
http://www.RealAstrology.com/ also says for SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21) Week of August 13, 1998 According to my reading of the astrological vibes, you will laugh more this week than you have in many moons. Harder and longer, too. Contradictions that in the past may have made you grind your teeth will now detonate your giggle reflex. Awkward moments which you might take too seriously at any other time will seem like entertaining slapstick. And then there's the fact that life in your vicinity is just going to be a lot funnier than usual. This could seem inconvenient, I suppose. What if you're convulsed with guffaws at a moment when you want to show how serious you can be? My advice is to avoid all situations that would require you to be sober and dignified. Give yourself the luxury of surrendering to the divine heehaw as much as possible.
~riette #165
Waaa-haaa-haaa!!!! Ha-ha!!! Giggle giggle. GUFFFFFFFAAAWWWW! hee-hee-hee Hoo-hoo-hoo- BBBBBAAAAAAAA!!!!!
~KitchenManager #166
Friday's: Today's excellent conjunction of the happy-go-lucky Sun and practical, business-minded Mercury brings a number of offers and opportunities which will lead to more money coming your way. You could have a great business idea which is well worth developing. If you have had any disagreements with others lately, you will find it easier to communicate your needs.
~KitchenManager #167
Saturday's: Some areas of your life will tend to slow down, while in other areas you'll be taking on more responsibility. You may find yourself in charge of some kind of project at work or running a social group. If you have to guide and influence others now, you may have to do so the hard way - by putting your foot down.
~riette #168
Does smacking baby buttocks count as putting one's foot down?
~terry #169
Which sign are you posting, wer?
~KitchenManager #170
mine, Cancer...
~riette #171
I still put my foot down over cupboard trashing yesterday!
~terry #172
InfoSpace Horoscopes Sagittarius This is a day to make promises of love, loyalty, or intent. Sign all contracts and commit to something that has tremendous payoff. Do not speak without thinking or act without adequate preparation. A sincere smile and a direct gaze go a long way toward helping your cause. Rather than trying to impress people with stories about your greatness, take an interest in themselves and their abilities. Feel confident that you can rely on your partner, either in your personal life or in the workplace.
~terry #173
And for Monday, August 17, 1998 Sagittarius Don't bother buying a lottery ticket today -- there are better days to win. In fact, your luck isn't exactly in today at all. Finances don't seem so bright today, so focus your mind on creating better systems at work. Try to streamline your tasks, and if necessary, bring in some help for your tougher jobs. There may be someone in your office who's just dying to win the extra prestige that a big job could garner so don't be selfish about giving someone else a chance. You may be questioning the ethics of someone close to you.
~autumn #174
Sounds like you'd be better off not even getting out of bed tomorrow...
~KitchenManager #175
Sunday's: After a longish period of travelling retrograde, Pluto now moves to direct motion. This will help you make sense of a number of things that have been bothering you recently and then put them right. You may, for example, have been fighting against a confusing and worrying situation at work. Another possibility is that you've been feeling off-colour. Either way, improvements are on the horizon.
~KitchenManager #176
Monday's: Money is coming your way! Of course, this will require some effort on your part, but once you see the potential of a new scheme you'll be chaffing at the bit to get started. A highly profitable period is forecast by today's aspect between Venus and Pluto.
~riette #177
Boy, that sounds pretty awful for us, huh Terry? Have a feeling this isn't going to be our week!
~terry #178
No, actually I have to streamline my tasks at work. That's a good one. You've got to take care of the good, the bad and the ugly. Gotta run to a dentist appt. now.
~riette #179
Good think one can talk with one's FINGERS in here!
~wolf #180
here's mine from that last place wer posted: GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Week of August 13, 1998 The Nyanja tribe of Malawi has a proverb which roughly translated reads, "If you should find the residents of a place frying their eyes, fry yours also." I guess that makes sense in some cases, especially if the eye-fryers have the power to make you so happy and rich that you don't mind being as blind as they are. But I'd like to offer you a healthier alternative which will be just as effective for your needs this week, and far less costly. It's this Moroccan proverb: "If you find the residents of a place worshipping a donkey, bring the beast some grass." OK, like this is so helpful. lemme try the other place *grin*
~wolf #181
oh, hello! they were the same places. hmmmmm.....
~wolf #182
from microsoft internet start You may feel overwhelmed today with lots of things happening but no clear place to start. Papers may pile up in your inbox at work, or you may receive a lot of bills at once and may wonder how you're going to handle all your expenses. It's important to take it easy and get organized first -- which may not be as simple as it sounds! Take note of how much you're making at work and where the money is being spent. Some of your expenses may surprise and dismay you -- it may be time to cut back on some luxuries okay now, this is more like my life (well, the overflowing in-box would be)
~KitchenManager #183
Tuesday's: This is one of those peculiar days when the planets are not making any major aspects and where little is happening to your sign. The only thing to do under these circumstances is to stick closely to your usual routine and avoid starting anything important. Just do what you have to do, and take it easy.
~riette #184
What are you, Wolf?
~terry #185
Yep, please include the *sign* when you post a horrorificscope.
~wolf #186
did in #180 (gemini)
~riette #187
Sorry, Wolf - my mistake.
~terry #188
The sign, boss. The sign.
~wolf #189
am i missing something here? ok, next time i post the twin's horrorscope, i'll make sure you all know it's for da looney twins! *grin*
~riette #190
Say what?
~terry #191
Sag... Others may shrug at your personal triumph, but that doesn't mean you can't celebrate quietly. Just save your loud self-congratulations for something that will be better received. Your intense inward focus may puzzle co-workers and friends. Don't worry about it -- sometime they confuse you, too. Explore your moods before you try to express them to someone else. A philosophical question may distract you all day if you don't address it directly.
~riette #192
Hmm....that's deep. Are you in a deep mood today, Terry? All I'm concentrating on is trying to do something RIGHT for a change.
~terry #193
I'm immersed in deep thoughts. By the way, Riette, do you have a video camcorder?
~riette #194
THAT'S your deep thought? Whether I have a video camera or not? No, no, no, YES. I believe I do.
~terry #195
Can you send me a video of you in your art studio that I could put up on our website? Mostly deep thoughts about mission, purpose, I think ratthing got me started this morning when I read his post.
~riette #196
While I'm sorry about the two of you feeling a bit down today, it is comforting to know we have men here who show all the signs of non-jerkiness. Only people with not-too-big egos ever doubt themselves/what they are doing/where they're going. I find it attractive in the sense that it's such a human thing to do. It shows that you care about what you are, and how you're getting on with your life and the people in it. It's when you stop caring that you should get really really worried. The important th ng is not only to listen to oneself, but also to the people who love you. Ask them too what they think, where they think you're going, whether what you're doing is worth while - I think that often the people who love us are better able to see the good in what we do than we can ourselves. It's funny, you know. When I read your and Wer's, and Ray's, and Wolf's and Autumn's, and everyone elses posts, I always think: wow, these people have done so much, have achieved so much, their path ahead is so well lit and certain. Why is it not the same with me? And then there comes a post like Ray's this morning, and I realize with a smile: we probably all think the same thing about each other! It's just nice to find out every once in a while. BIG HUG As far as the video is concerned - I'll do it, but you will be mega dissappointed, I'm sure, so be warned. My 'studio' is VERY VERY MESSY, and will shatter every romantic view everyone has ever had about artists' studios. Mine contains books, my hi-fi, more books, two pianos, the computer, pictures, vandalized canvasses - stuff like that. Nothing of the white and smart look, and I stand my canvasses on a stool, not necessarily the easel - but that's the way I like it, and I'm not changing it. So if it s not what you had in mind, I'll save you the trouble. Also, can I just send you the original little cassette? Because if I convert it onto video, it'll be PAL VHS, and I know you use NTSCH or whatever in America. Is that a problem?
~terry #197
Sure. Wow, that's great. Send the little casette and I'll convert it to VHS and play it on the website. Be sureto fill it with lots of talk and/or music or sounds but the sound tracks the big part of the videos we run. Wow, you'll do it, that's terrific. No limits on content, Riette.
~riette #198
For you, anything.
~wolf #199
i think it's awfully sweet of you to do that. i would be afraid if your studio was all crisp and white.
~riette #200
Be afraid anyway, Wolf.....be VERY afraid!!! You'll think me a real pig when you see my studio. If you guys want, I could also do you one of Zrich when I have a bit more time. It's really pretty.
~terry #201
InfoSpace Horoscopes Sagittarius Today is a great time to strike up conversation with somebody you don't know. A stranger on the bus or a friendly face at the corner store may turn out to be your next best friend. That person you always see on your way to work or wherever it is that you go may be impressed by your outgoing, eccentric nature, so turn on the charm. It seems that many are listening to what you have to say, and you feel perfectly assured. This is a great day to communicate, so plan to make speeches and presentations. Hmm, first thing when I came to work I was heavy into communicating with everyone on my project today. Anyone out here I don't know yet? If there is, let's talk!
~terry #202
InfoSpace Horoscopes Sagittarius A day for drama and action. You may discover something new today which you will want to know more about. Alternately, you could meet a person in an unlikely way, a person who will soon become vital to your life. Don't pass up any opportunities to get out and meet people. Attend all parties, particularly dinner parties, and speak up at meetings. Sagittarius is the true pioneer of the zodiac, and you will be no exception. Those dreams you've been harboring for a while could be just about ready to come true - if you have the guts to try, that is.
~riette #203
I think I must be a severely handicapped Sagittarius...
~KitchenManager #204
Cancer's for today: The two themes that are likely to be important in the short-term future are those of children and having a good time. We hope that these two are compatible.
~riette #205
Mostly, but not ALWAYS!
~wolf #206
short-future? maybe halloween??
~KitchenManager #207
not sure...gotta work Halloween, anyway... Today's: You're in the mood for fun and adventure, but those close to home won't appreciate your apparently selfish actions. A money worry may emerge today which will do little to encourage domestic harmony. Very little can be resolved, so wait until this stellar influence passes.
~KitchenManager #208
Today's for Cancer... Lofty values have no place in today's rather disappointing stars. You may feel you have been let down by colleagues who do not share your ideals. Perhaps you're feeling moody and distrustful...however, there is probably a good reason for this.
~KitchenManager #209
Today's for Cancer: The Full Moon could make you feel tense and it could also bring you an unexpected expense which, when you come to think of it, is probably only to be expected. The best thing to do today is to jog along as usual and don't get caught up in anyone else's bad mood.
~KitchenManager #210
Cancer's for Friday the 13th... Many of your convictions have gone through profound changes since Jupiter went retrograde. Today, the giant planet resumes its direct course and you can take stock of the situation. A lot of confusion will now be resolved and you may feel that your luck improves as your mind clears.
~KitchenManager #211
Cancer's for Thanksgiving: There could be good things going on in connection with work or business today. Other people may come up with money-making schemes that are worth investigating. This may lead to some kind of working partnership that will stand the test of time. This may not affect you directly, but could, for example, apply to your partner. And for Friday: Neptune's entry into one of the deepest and most secret areas of your horoscope emphasises parts of your complex mind that you scarcely knew existed. Many of you may have psychic or spiritual experiences in the coming months.
~wolf #212
Gemini for this beautiful Thanksgiving Day (according to the Times): Make calls in the morning; reach out for family and friends. You bring happiness into other people's lives. Wherever you are, be the lead player. Others look to you for different ways to solve problems. Tonight: Head cheerleader!
~TIM #213
Whew! sounds like someone is going to a party!!
~wolf #214
must've been another gemini, cuz it sure wasn't me! (although my daughter did some cheerleading tonight, only she's an aries)
~KitchenManager #215
Cancer's today: Close emotional links will flourish now as Venus, planet of love, enters your horoscopic area of partnerships. If you're in any doubt about your relationship then this is the time to show your affection in no uncertain terms. In more practical concerns Venus adds goodwill in business dealings, while the next few weeks could see the transformation of a rival in commerce or love to an ally and friend. Those who are single may find the man or woman of their dreams.
~KitchenManager #216
Cancer's today: Your financial fortunes may look uncertain, but an unexpected event could easily make good the losses you have experienced. Keep your head and be prepared to act quickly to benefit from any financial opportunity.
~KitchenManager #217
Cancer's today: A sudden declaration of love is not unlikely today. Emotions are very close to the surface, and no matter how you repress them, they are still likely to bubble over into the many areas of your life. Apart from the physical aspect, you'll experience deep spiritual desire.
~PT #218
Now, that sounds interesting!!
~wolf #219
what's your sign, pt?
~PT #220
Cancer
~stacey #221
Let's have some Aries mumbo jumbo!
~KitchenManager #222
you'd have to talk to my sisters...
~PT #223
Your sisters are both Aries? Are they twins?
~KitchenManager #224
yep...with different birthdays noless...
~PT #225
Born near midnight, were they?
~KitchenManager #226
yep...3 to 4 days earlier, and they would have different zodiac signs, as well!
~PT #227
If they really followed the Zodiac, that would not have made much difference, since both would have been on the cusp.
~KitchenManager #228
yeah, but it still would have been cool to tell people...
~PT #229
That is true. I'll bet that twins with different birthdays get plenty of comment
~KitchenManager #230
yes indeedy
~wolf #231
yeah, but their poor mother! stacey, my daughter is an aries too!
~stacey #232
ahhh, you poor dear. It must be trying having a daughter who is ALWAYS right!
~PT #233
Aren't they all, sooner or later?
~autumn #234
I have TWO daughters who think they are always right, yet only ONE is an Aries...how do you account for that? :-) (The other is a Taurus)
~jgross #235
taurus daughters bull their way into the clear into the front of everyone's attention and that's where it feels right to them. i like 'em for it. they're pretty funny with 'emselves. characters.
~stacey #236
Autumn, is your Aries daughter the oldest? Just wondering if she's showing her astrologically impaired baby sister the way?!?!
~wolf #237
all i know is my aries daughter is a go-getter. she is a mother-hen, bossy, and so sweet that it's unbelievable. my son, the gemini, is shy, has problems doing one thing at a time (typical of us) and butts heads with me (another gemini); however, my kids do fine together. which explains why my daughter and i are close and my son and i are not. AND why my daughter and son are close. now my husband is like a fish out of water--he's a pisces.
~KitchenManager #238
CANCER (June 21-July 22) Week of January 7, 1999 The ancient Greek word klimax had several meanings. My favorite: a ladder to heaven by which a dreamer's soul arrived at an erotic tryst with a divine being who imparted precious secrets. I bring this up, Cancerian, because I believe the fates will bestow the gift of a klimax on you this week. I hope you'll keep a pen and notebook by your bed so you can scribble down a record of your electrifying rendezvous right after it occurs. I swear it'll become a metaphorical talisman for you, the symbol of a new chapter in your mythic quest for intriguing love.
~riette #239
Wer, tell us about how wonderful it is to have twins for sisters. You seem so vague about it.... BIG SMILE
~KitchenManager #240
hehe... have you been to Terry's new horoscope topic in spirit and/or porch? In spirit it's http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/read/porch/43
~KitchenManager #241
duh, no it's not, like I said in SPIRIT it's http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/read/spirit/43
~terry #242
Woo hoo, the new server rocks!
~terry #243
Mark this day, Jan 31st 2000 as the birthday for the new server. What sign does that make it?
~stacey #244
wow... freaking me out... I clicked in here and saw kitchen_manager posts... I thought WER was back... no such luck, they are from January of 1999... Lemme see Paul, does that make the new server a Capricorn? Or would it be a Piceis, Piecis, Peices? (How in the FUK do you spell that word???)
~MarciaH #245
He's been reading some of the same books I have...scary!!!
~stacey #246
who/ WER or Paul?
~MarciaH #247
*grin* ...not saying.
~stacey #248
... then you've said a mouthful... *return grin*
~MarciaH #249
*big happy grin*
~sprin5 #250
Any horrorscopes?
~aschuth #251
My 'scope says, there's a dark beer awaiting me at superstar's office in Frankfurt, well - you'd guess it's a very unhip bar, but it's my home away from home. And: that beer'll be used to wash down something that proprietor cooked up...
~MarciaH #252
No horrorscopes here except for the fact that anyone logged onto Spring can delete my entire copnference...other than that...!
~wer #253
Hmmm, been three years... Well, here goes mine for today, and it would be a nice turn of events... "Did you ever get the fortune cookie telling you that you're likely to be at the center of any group's attention? If so, you must have done something to make it come true, because now everyone is staring at you, waiting for you to do something wonderful. Once you get over your self-consciousness, you'll appreciate your good luck. This is the time to try out a different routine or send up a trial balloon. The giving flows both ways, too. If you seek knowledge, someone here will be able to answer your questions."
~terry #254
This is what http://astrology-online/sagittar.htm sez about my sign. Sagittarians have a positive outlook on life, are full of enterprise, energy, versatility, adventurousness and eagerness to extend experience beyond the physically familiar. They enjoy travelling and exploration, the more so because their minds are constantly open to new dimensions of thought. They are basically ambitious and optimistic, and continue to be so even when their hopes are dashed. Their strongly idealistic natures can also suffer many disappointments without being affected. They are honorable, honest, trustworthy, truthful, generous and sincere, with a passion for justice. They are usually on the side of the underdog in society they will fight for any cause they believe to be just, and are prepared to be rebellious. They balance loyalty with independence. Sagittarians are usually modest and are often religious, with a strong sense of morality, though they tend to overemphasize the ethical codes they follow and worship beliefs about God rather than God Himself. This means that, negatively, they regard rigid, unloving, intolerant adherence to ritual and conventional codes as more important than the truths they symbolize or embody. They sometimes pay lip service to religions and political parties in which they have ceased to believe because the outward forms satisfy them, yet they may not hesitate to switch allegiance in politics or change their system of belief if they see personal advantage to themselves in doing so. They have both profound and widely ranging minds, equipped with foresight and good judgement, and they can be witty conversationalists. They love to initiate new projects (they make excellent researchers) and have an urge to understand conceptions that are new to them. they think rapidly, are intuitive and often original, but are better at adapting than inventing and are at their best when working with colleagues of other types of character that compliment their own. They are strong-willed and good at organizing, a combination that gives them the ability to bring any project they undertake to a successful conclusion. Their generosity can be balanced by their extreme care at handling their resources. Sagittarians are ardent, sincere and straightforward in love, normally conventional and in control of their sexual natures. Yet if thwarted, they may easily allow their failure to embitter their whole lives or they may revenge themselves upon the opposite sex by becoming cynically promiscuous. They are more apt then the average to make an uncongenial alliance. If their marriages are successful, they will be faithful spouses and indulgent parents; but their innate restlessness will inspire them to use even the most satisfying mnage as a base from which to set out on their travels. They need to fell free and are often faced with the choice of allowing their careers to take over their lives at the expense of the love of their spouse and family. Sagittarian women are the counterparts of their men; even if they have no career to rival their love, they find it difficult to express affection and may run the risk of being thought frigid. In other personal relationships they are reliable, seldom betraying any trust given to them. They can, however, be impulsively angry and both male and female Sagittarians know how to be outspoken and exactly what expressions will hurt their adversaries most. On the other hand they are magnanimous in forgiving offenses and are responsible when looking after the elderly in the family. Their gifts fit Sagittarians for a number of widely differing professions. They are natural teachers and philosophers with a talent for expounding the moral principles and laws which seem to explain the universe. This gift enables them to be successful churchmen on the one hand and scientists on the other. The law and politics also suit them, as does public service, social administration, public relations and advertising. Travel and exploration naturally appeal to such restless souls and, if their opportunities are limited, they may find something of travel and change of scene in the armed forces or through working as a travelling salesman. Others may make fine musicians and, in the days before automobiles, they were said to be successful at horse trading and all activities, including sporting ones, concerning horses. This has been translated in modern terms into an interest in cars and aircraft - and again with emphasis on the sporting side racing, rallying etc. They are said to make good sports coaches, but their tastes in this direction may lead them into imprudent gambling, though the gambling instinct may be sublimated by carrying it out professionally as a bookmaker. The vices to which Sagittarians are prone are anger they tend to flare up over trifles; impatience - they want to rush every new project through immediately and demand too much of colleagues who cannot work at the pace they require; and scorn of the inadequacies of others while expecting fulsome recognition of their own efforts. They may in one sense deserve recognition, because in completing a major project they will sacrifice their health and family relationships; in their family's eyes they may merit condemnation. They can be exacting, domineering and inconsiderate in the work place; and boastful, vulgar and extravagant in their private lives. Their restlessness, if excessive, can jeopardize more than their own stability. some Sagittarians risk becoming playboys, wasting their lives away in frivolous pursuits. Others can develop a moralizing, religious fanaticism or else turn into hypocrites, their inner prudishness disguised by an outward appearance of joviality. Another side of the religiosity which is a danger in Sagittarians is superstition.
~terry #255
And my wife's scope. CANCER (June 22-July 22) Don't expect anyone else to pay your bills for you. You need to refrain from being the generous one in the group. Take time to find out all you can. Also. Cancer! About your sign... The Cancerian character is the least clear-cut of all those associated with the signs of the zodiac. It can range from the timid, dull, shy and withdrawn to the most brilliant, and famous Cancerians are to be found through the whole range of human activity. It is a fundamentally conservative and home-loving nature, appreciating the nest like quality of a secure base to which the male can retire when he needs a respite from the stresses of life, and in which the Cancerian woman can exercise her strong maternal instincts. The latter tends to like and to have a large family. `Nest like' is an appropriate adjective for the Cancerian home, for its inhabitants tend to favor the dark, mysterious but comfortable type of house which has something of the air of a den about it, a place which belongs to the family rather than existing as a showcase to impress visitors. That is not to say that the Cancerian is unsociable, just that for them there is a time to socialize and a time to be solitary, and this is part of the apparent contradiction in their nature. Outwardly they can appear formidable - thick-skinned, unemotional, uncompromising, obstinately tenacious, purposeful, energetic, shrewd, intuitive and wise, sometimes with a philosophical profundity of thought verging on inspiration. Their intimates, however, may see a very different character, one with a sympathetic and kindly sensitivity to other people, especially those they love. They are able to identify with the situations of others because of the keenness of their imaginations. They are often over-imaginative and prone to fantasy, sometimes trying to shape their lives to fit some romantic ideal. They are appreciative of art and literature, and especially of drama, where the spectacle and ebb and flow of action and feeling particularly excite them. They may themselves possess considerable literary, artistic or oratorical talent. Their sharp ears and talent for mimicry can sometimes give them success on the stage, though their tendency to be emotional may make them overact. Interestingly - because they give the impression of being down-to-earth - they are often fascinated by the occult and are more open to psychic influence than the average. If they can reconcile the personal conflict of their urge to be outgoing with the reserve that causes them to withdraw into themselves, then at best they can inspire a generation, especially the youthful part of it, by their idealism. A job in which they can express this, and in which they can do well, would be as a leader in a youth organization. In their personal relationships they are mentally a mixture of toughness and softness, often emotional and romantic to the point of sentimentality in their fantasies; but in real life and in marriage, their loving is not so sentimental but tenaciously loyal. Even if they have affairs (and they may do so, for the male in particular is open to sensual stimulation), their first loyalty remains to spouse and family, of whom they regard themselves as the protector. Both the Cancerian man and woman love unreservedly, giving much and asking little in return - in fact, one of the most important lessons they have to learn is how to receive gracefully. They are too easily influenced by those they love and admire, and swayed by the emotion of the moment. They are also loyal friends, the negative side of their faithfulness being clannishness, the narrow patriotism of "my country right or wrong"; and closing ranks in suspicion and coldness toward outsiders. Cancerians have a retentive memory, particularly for emotionally laden events which they can recall in detail for years afterwards. they are strongly governed by childhood memories and since they live intensely in the past in memory and in the future in imagination, a chance meeting with someone for whom they had an unrequited love, even if they thought they had conquered the feeling, will easily rouse the emotion all over again. The Cancerian has many potential faults. They can be untidy, sulky, devious, moody, inclined to self-pity because of an inferiority complex, brood on insults (very often imagined), yet are easily flattered. They can be tactless and difficult yet, because they are normally ambitious, they will curry favor by floating with majority opinions, outlooks and fashions of the day. As a result they often change their opinions and loyalties and, indeed, their occupations, and lack stability. They are easily corrupted and, because they are convincing romanticizers, can make successful confidence tricksters. Their romanticism in another sense make them ardent supporters of causes, for example a football team with whose heroes they can identify in a world of fantasy. Their abilities fit the Cancerian for a wide range of occupations. As they are interested in what people are thinking and able to judge what they can safely be told, they can be good journalists, writers or politicians, though in this last capacity they are more likely to remain in the background rather than attain prominent positions of power. They may, indeed, change their party affiliations. They can serve in other departments of public affairs, especially those which involve looking after others, for example in any kind of service from welfare and nursing to catering - their own love of comfort and good living makes the Cancerian an excellent chef or housekeeper. They sometimes have a penchant for trade or business and are often successful as a captain of industry. This is because they are excellent organizers with a good sense of value and economy which they may combine with a flair for inventiveness and originality. The romantic side of their natures make them enjoy grubbing about in places where exciting discoveries may be made (old stamp collections in attics, etc.), and if they can do this professionally as a secondhand dealer or specialist in antiques, they will be happy. More common occupations which suit some subjects of Cancer are real estate broker, gardener and sailor. Physically they are average to below average in height, with a fleshy body and short legs in comparison with the rest of them. Their hair is usually brown, their faces round, their complexions pale, their foreheads prominent, their eyes small and blue or gray in color, their noses short, perhaps upturned, and their mouths full. They sometimes walk clumsily. Any my Sag scope for Nov 23 through Dec 21 SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 -Dec. 21) Focus, and concentrate on yourself and your future. Assist a relative or good friend by setting of a budget for them. Set your goals and stick to your guns. Hey, they're a bit behind in updating their site!

I likes the sound of this one... "Technophobes take heart. Your dark ages are coming to an end in an era of user-friendliness. Technophiles get an open budget or find amazing sale prices. The equipment that you coveted for so long can finally be yours. As your arsenal grows, increased computing power connects you to a whole new world. Even if you're not wired up and jacked in by this time tomorrow, you'll gain extra mileage by your sudden ability to make sense of unintelligible manuals. You could write these things yourself, or at least make a living explaining them to people as paralyzed as you once were."

Uh, oh... Today's: "It's time for you to explain yourself to others. Understand, however, that this isn't a one day event--it will last for the next few weeks. You always want others to understand you, but it's difficult to know where to jump into your explanation of yourself. So, day by day, you put it off, until the gulf of what's not expressed is just too large to cross. Now, however, you can set your sights high and bit by bit you can tell it all."

Sag for Today or week of Jan 15 In Greek myth, Psyche was a pure-hearted young woman whose misadventures with love got her into trouble. One day she found herself at the mercy of the goddess Aphrodite, who commanded her to sort a big heap of mixed millet, wheat, and poppy seeds into separate piles. You're now in a situation that reminds me of Psyche's predicament, Sagittarius. Is there any hope for you to complete your own version of this seemingly impossible task? Yes, there is -- especially if you garner the kind of help that Psyche did. Feeling compassion for her plight, thousands of ants swarmed to her aid, separating the seeds for her overnight. Can you call on an equivalent ally? Pretty coll, hug. Got it at http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/sagittarius.html And for the Cancer's in the crowd: Cancer Horoscope for week of January 15, 2004 The "Weekly World News" reports that U.S. President George W. Bush, the world's most famous Cancer, plans to invade the moon and declare it the 51st state. To fill the office of the moon's live-in governor, Bush intends to appoint his former foe Al Gore, who garnered 540,520 more votes than the President in the election of 2000. In the weeks ahead, I urge you Crabs to come up with an equally nutty and brilliant strategy as you expand your empire to exotic new locales and shake off old adversaries. Hmm, think I'll blaki that

Your Horoscope for the week : March 10 2005 - March 16 2005 Privacy is your madden name, for you seldom allow others to see your true feelings. You remain focused at work and achieving the object you have laid out in front of you. On the home front, things will be on automatic cruise control, with a warm family scenario which will be creating a surreal and harmonious surrounding for you. Some of the other factors that will add to your peace of mind will be easy flow of finances, enhancement of personal possessions and the important quality time spent at home with family, children, loved ones, parents and in-laws. This new found environment will prod the easy venting of issues that have been swept under the carpet to be sorted out on a rainy day. However, be warned. Do not let your argument and impulsive side rock the boat. You have everything going your way with too much at hand to jeopardize.

ok for today: Gemini You are likely to hit that magic spot with someone today in which you can almost read each other's thoughts, dear Gemini. You may know exactly what that person is going to say before he or she says it. You may also find that your mind is working so fast that while someone is trying to make one point, you are already five steps ahead of where that person is trying to go. Put your gifts to good use. hmmmm.....must've not been talking about thisgemini today although i did say, a few times, the same exact thing someone else was saying at the same exact time!

This morning you could receive the materials you've been missing that were keeping you from moving forward with the project you've been itching to wrap up. By the afternoon you're at a real make-it-or-break-it point. Will you push forward and get it done and receive acclaim and congratulations from all sides? Or will you say ho-hum, who cares, and let the whole thing go to pieces? Phooey! Of course you'll make it happen.

GO !! I wonder how bad mine is. I usually pick the one that sounds most promising and stick with that one. This morning is, um, problematic. You may think youve got a handle on things and are prepared for almost anything, but this mornings vibes indicate that youre not there yet. Anger or resentment may be directed at a specific person that has let you down. Thankfully, this tension finally resolves itself during the afternoon and evening, bringing back your fun-loving, mischief-making sensual side. Oh Right...! (that is for the 11th so be forewarned
