WS-Timer -- WS-Timer is the easiest and most useful independent
timing client available. It records time spent online to date for both
the current session and for all sessions since the last reset. This is a
great program for monitoring time spent on-line and comes
complete with easy to use documentation. Additional features in
WS-Timer include very useful calculator and calendar utilities,
configurable time settings, and summary reports. Although Net Dial
incorporates a timing client as well, those users not using Net Dial
will quickly realize WS-Timer's value. This is especially important
for users paying for access by the hour (or minute) and for users
getting paid by the hour for working on-line. This client also holds
the record for most updates in one day (three) :-)
The recently released Windows 95 version offers several additional
features but costs less than five dollars more than the comparable
3.x release. Features in this version include an application toolbar
for launching up to ten of your favorite applications (a la WSTBar
or ICC); a RAS dialer that allows multiple numbers and repeats;
and session, daily, monthly and lifetime logging capabilities. If
you're a Windows 95 or Windows NT user, this is definitely the
timer client to use.
Pros: Easy to use, helpful documentation, configurable time settings
Cons: Timing client already incorporated into Net Dial, so Net Dial
users may not need
New: Windows 95 release, now shareware, new calculator and
calendar utilities, more bug fixes
Version Reviewed: Windows 3.x - 6.00. Windows 95 - 95.01.10
Date of Review: 4/2/96

This version does not start timing unless I press the force key. It has lost the history of previuos version. No response from an email to the author on what I could do to fix the problem. If you log on a second time without shutting the programme down you have to hangup then Connect. If you switch to another provider tou have to play with the aprovider check boxes to get to the correct provider. Setting it on the main window does not carry ibnto the connect screen. Other than that it does what it i
supposed to.

I tried Version 6.01. If I start the program, then it won't let my modem initialize. Obviously, i need to change something, but there is no information that I could find.
