Woo, woo! Who knew Wolf's real name was Elke? Pretty sexy, huh....
~Wolf #2
thanks, wer, but this topic won't last long *giggle*
~KitchenManager #3
that's okay, sometimes I don't either... but it's still fun! (and even, on occasion, appreciated)
~Wolf #4
but you are appreciated!
~mikeg #5
oh WER, you're so crass :-))))) This is another cooly topic - becoming a bit of a fashion this starting topics about spring-babes. The big question, of course, is WHEN ARE THE PICTURES COMING, GIRLS? *smooch*
~KitchenManager #6
probably before any of us do...
~mikeg #7
euwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no no no nono!!!!!!! nono! no! NO! oh go on then.
~autumn #8
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! You guys are too much! How about it wolf? You've got the scanner....
~mikeg #9
more to the point, has she got the leather gear? and is she claire danes? *swooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon* THUD
~Wolf #10
why, yes, i do have leather, keep it polished too *grin*
~KitchenManager #11
why, yes, yes she does... (what you really wanna see is the pictures of her nekkid and mud-wrasslin' gators!!!)
~Wolf #12
in my slip/apron/bib contraption!!
~KitchenManager #13
Lawdy, yes! *swoon*
~Wolf #14
woohoo!
~KitchenManager #15
(I don't know who is safer to play with anymore: you, Stacey, or Autumn...)
~Wolf #16
just remember i'm a wolf
~KitchenManager #17
can you keep from leaving bite marks and scratches?
~Wolf #18
maybe......
~KitchenManager #19
depends on my skill level, huh?
~Wolf #20
you got it *grin*
~KitchenManager #21
should be safe then... *wink*
~Wolf #22
*the wolf tilts her ears forward in interest*
~KitchenManager #23
am sposed to bite you on the back of the neck now, right? (and what do I need to do to get you to raise your tail in interest?)
~Wolf #24
no biting, nibbling maybe, but watch the ears..... (g'night, sweetie pie)
~KitchenManager #25
nite-nite... (did I run you off?)
~Wolf #26
no, just sore arms and tired eyeballs!
~KitchenManager #27
not to mention, sore shot spots... (gotta stay paranoid, you know, always good to keep in practice...)
~KitchenManager #28
When does the two month wolf exile begin?
~Wolf #29
wer, told ya it wouldn't last *giggle*
~KitchenManager #30
ah, well...
~wolf #31
just checking to see if this topic was killed *wink*
~KitchenManager #32
doesn't appear to have been *nudge*
~terry #33
Still runnin' wild and free.
~wolf #34
that's the way i likes it *wolfie grin*
~KitchenManager #35
wild and free, huh?
~wolf #36
you got that right!
~riette #37
joyful howl
~wolf #38
thanks for joining in! *hugs*
~wolf #39
just stopped in to clean off the dust *sneeze* man! there's a lot of it! what, no i love you letters and no traffic in my topic? *sniff*
~sociolingo #40
Hiya Wolfie, just visiting, *grin* i didn't get any love letters either - must be a bunch of us out there! mind, must be the first time i'm glad i didn't.
~sprin5 #41
I got three love letters today, deleted 'em right away.
~MarciaH #42
None so far, but I am downloading Saturday's bunch. Maybe I am not flattered to be ignored like this. I know someone who had 15 the first morning. Apparently she did not open one, or I would have had some, too.
~sprin5 #43
I'm deleting nearly every email I get with attachments. Not taking chances on this one.
~sociolingo #44
I think we should be glad we were missed out! (I shall get T send you a silly card just to make up, Marcia! *grin*)
~MarciaH #45
Do that...(would he?!)
~wolf #46
i was glad not to get any either!
~sociolingo #47
Maybe we're some sort of exclusive club???? *grin*
~wolf #48
the unloved? *laugh*
~sociolingo #49
Nah, the special! *grin*
~wolf #50
the smart!
~sociolingo #51
(Marcia, don't dare me ...yes he would if i put him up to it!!!) Do you want one too wolfie? (card from T. that is .... *laugh*) Oops better let him finish his sermon for tomorrow first!
~MarciaH #52
Seems you were doing just fine while I was away from the computer. I wonder what 2 days will do for my image?! Oh well, even those who send real ones are too busy to do so, I guess. Shall I take up Holy Orders or wait a little longer? Poor Dear Tony - *Big Bear Hugs* to him for being so good-hearted and caring!
~MarciaH #53
I consider us the discerning. Those who appreciate the mine inside of the beauty are the ones we attract. They don't waste their intellectual energy sending junk through the mail! Exclusive, Indeed!
~MarciaH #54
the mind....the mind inside of the beauty...definitely too much sun this afternoon...and a much bigger dose tomorrow!
~sociolingo #55
Wolfie, you topic seems to be doing quite well with all the company, now who else can we attract??
~MarciaH #56
Guys...?
~MarciaH #57
Gotta be the right guys, though...but we will entertain any passersby...*smile*
~sociolingo #58
we're very entertaining! and hospitable! and friendly! *big grin*
~MarciaH #59
Oh yes, Indeed! Ask a few dozen folks who know me *Even Bigger Grin*
~sociolingo #60
Well ladies, you got your cards! *grin*
~sociolingo #61
Don't be offended - was just being silly!
~sociolingo #62
(*crawling back into my corner until forgiven*)
~MarciaH #63
(*thinking about it...*)
~wolf #64
maggie, you are silly. the card was great!!
~MarciaH #65
I was all disappointment. She said Tony was sending it. I have IM'd him and thought he was not monkeying around. Oh well, I'm clueless, sometimes. OK, Maggie, I know you put him up to it, but I forgive you...this time....
~MarciaH #66
Oooh, Wolfie, I got the book I ordered with the Landscape paintings in it.
~wolf #67
you like it?
~MarciaH #68
It's nice but only one painting which REALLY interests me... It is very evocative of Maine and the atmosphere, and it does contain one painting by the non-related David Little (which looks more like I did it than the artist for whom I bought the book...)
~wolf #69
oh no!
~MarciaH #70
Well, it is a good excuse to email him about the next book to purchase with his paintings in it. I hate to bother him right now between returning from Rome and having a major exhibition opening at the end of the month and updating his web site by May 15 (not to mention all of his friends who are doubtless giving him plenty of open houses to attend...and being filmed for more PBS programs and those things which populate the truly gifted people's lives) I am closer to the bottom of the pecking order than they, but he DID write first and requested conversation. I will give him time to settle down again. I would love a book entirely dedicated to him - and it will come, most assuredly!
~wolf #71
well, with his exposure, it should!
~MarciaH #72
This is the painting in the book (leaving off the front of the url...but you know what it is http://www.com/imold/wasswinter4.html
~wolf #73
send it email (i lost the rest of it)
~MarciaH #74
In the book it is incredible. You were right, these pixels do not do justice to paintings. Fine photographs are much the better - and comparing the book with the image onscreen, the others which we love must be incredible!!!
~wolf #75
(meant the address; i think i accidentally deleted it)
~MarciaH #76
I sent it if you mean the URL...
~wolf #77
yes, that's what i mean, i accidentally deleted it while cleaning out my inbox.
~wolf #78
got it, thanks!
~MarciaH #79
Tis done... This painting in the book is the only one in there where the rocks are definitely THIS side of the sea. I have not the slightest idea how he did it but it is magical, exactly like those very rocks look (I've been there!)and so dimensional as to be hypnotizing. I MUST have a big book of as many of his paintings as there are published...
~wolf #80
hmmm...next time i'm out shopping *grin* i'll look!
~MarciaH #81
I wonder if Borders or Waldenbooks would have it - page 87 if you are looking. "Art of the Maine Islands" by Carl Little (no relative) and Arnold Skolnick Downeast Books 1997
~wolf #82
i meant a book with only his pics.
~MarciaH #83
Gotta light a fire under somebody to get going on that project!
~MarciaH #84
Hauoli Na Hanau, Wolfie Baby! From the 3M Babe
~MarciaH #85
It is still your birthday here! I missed it by *that* much Austin time or UTC or whatever time this is keeping. *MORE BIG HUGS*
~autumn #86
Happy Birthday, Wolf! It's still June 8 here!
~wolf #87
thanks!!!!
~terry #88
Happy Birthday Wolfie!!!
~wolf #89
look, my topic wasn't frozen!! *laugh* back when william created it for me, i told him this would be a dead topic!!!! *giggle* y'all just don't know whatcher missin'!! *toothy wolfie grin*
~autumn #90
I for one am glad to see it back in service, Wolfbabe!! BTW, I watched a fascinating show on PBS last night about the wolves of Yellowstone.
~AotearoaKiwi #91
Hi all Hello Wolfie Baby (I like the name), Marcia's gentle hand guided me to this topic for someone equally gentle. Rob
~wolf #92
ooooooooooooo! thanks for stopping by! *grin* i've seen so many wolf specials, autumn, that i can't keep up with them. don't know if we have wolves locally (besides me)
~MarciaH #93
Wolfie, how much do you like coyotes. You have them. I have been wakened in the night by their howling. It's quite unnerving when you are not used to it. I should have realized they were your poor relatives! AhhhhhhWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo
~MarciaH #94
I was in Chino Hills at the time, Not Hilo. If I heard a wolfie here, I'd put on the coffee and snuggle in for a long chat with her! Pass the People and Wolfie Biscuits!
~wolf #95
*grin* i heard the coyotes back home and they are a sorrowful sound. have heard seals barking at night here but not coyotes.
~MarciaH #96
Oh man, Coyotes sound mournful and blood-chilling the first few times. It is always in the still of the night and these were in the empty lot maybe 100 meters away. I know they were happy, though, because there was yipping going on, too. I think they had gotten dinner and were inviting the family over for a feast. I never quite did get used to it. I was also awakened by a 4.5 earthquake which made me feel right at home. I announced to the darkness that it was 4.5 and went back to sleep. It turned out I was right, even without my bead-and-wire detector!
~MarciaH #97
I have not heard seals barking, but I did get up the coast a ways and visited the sea lions. They absolutely bellow. Most impressive.
~AotearoaKiwi #98
Hi all The one Wolf I know is a two legged beauty gracing this page. I hope to visit LA one day in a couple years time if you are still there. Rob
~MarciaH #99
I'll be certain she has her rabies shots prior to your meeting!
~wolf #100
oh, get them every year! am hoping to be back in LA in a couple of years too!
~MarciaH #101
...from LA to LA?! I'd better catch you on the western end of that. Unless you think I might meet a Cajun somewhere.....*grin*
~wolf #102
yep--we went from LA to L.A. and want to go back to LA!
~MarciaH #103
Beacuse she deserves this commentary and because I love her dearly and because she sent it to me, heres to my twin, Wolfie! To Realize To realize the value of ten years: Ask a newly divorced couple. To realize the value of four years: Ask a graduate. To realize the value of one year: Ask a student who has failed a final exam. To realize the value of nine months: Ask a mother who gave birth to a still born. To realize the value of one month: Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of one week: Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of one hour: Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of one minute: Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane. To realize the value of one second: Ask a person who has survived an accident. To realize the value of one millisecond: Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics. Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have. You will treasure it even more when you can share it with someone special. To realize the value of a friend: Lose one.
~alyeska #104
Beautiful Marcia and so very true.
~MarciaH #105
Yes, Lucie. I think we have exchanged this sentiment, also. If not, consider it done now!
~wolf #106
thanks to an old high school classmate who sent it to me, i couldn't resist passing it along to my friends! *HUGS*
~MarciaH #107
Group HUG!!! It feels very good in here!
~AotearoaKiwi #108
Hi all Did I miss something?? Geo's "Floods and other hydro hazards" has a great yarn being told and I am too busy dealing with that to come in here at the moment, but I hope all is cool. Rob
~AotearoaKiwi #109
Hi all Wolfie, I am trying to kick start you topic in here, since you have earned it. Rob
~wolf #110
*blush* thanks rob!!!!!!!!!!!
~AotearoaKiwi #111
Hi all So what does the gracious Wolfie Baby (I like the name)do for employment in the great US of A. Rob (from a country just celebrating it's 162nd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Aotearoa/New Zealand!!!)
~wolf #112
this wolf is employed by Uncle Sam! Happy Birthday New Zealand!!
~wolf #113
(thanks for trying to revive my babe topic *HUGS*)
~MarciaH #114
Yo Wolfie Baby! Cheers! You deserve it!
~MarciaH #115
Hi Rob! You will snitch every heart on Spring with your sweetness! *Hugs*
~AotearoaKiwi #116
Hi all How can I do that Marcia, when your sweetness rivals mine and Wolfie's? Bit of competition there. Rob
~MarciaH #117
Different genders, Sweetie! That's what makes it magic! Happy Valentine's Day, Wolfie
~wolf #118
Thanks sweetie and to you! *HUGS*
~MarciaH #119
Oh Wolfie! I got kicked offline and then had a RAM freezing moment so I had to reboot from scratch. Then you were gone when I got back. *HUGS* Take a photo of your Valentine Lady Slipper Orchid. I'd love to see if it is like mine.
~wolf #120
will do!
~AotearoaKiwi #121
Hi all Wolfie! Where are you these days? Take care all. Rob
~wolf #122
am here just under stress! *HUGS*
~MarciaH #123
*Hugs* Wolfie. You know we are pulling for you!
~wolf #124
thank you so much *HUGS*
~MarciaH #125
You'd be amazed how many guys ask if you are ok. Since I am your twin, I have to keep good care of you! And, they know I am *;)
~wolf #126
*sniff* I didn't know so many cared *HUGS TO YOU ALL*
~MarciaH #127
Anyone who cares about me automatically cares for YOU, Sweetie! *Hugs*
~autumn #128
((((Wolf)))))) don't know what's going on, but I'm there for you...
~AotearoaKiwi #129
Hi all And you are on my babes list, Wolfie. It takes some effort to get there. Rob
~wolf #130
i certainly hope you didn't feel obligated to put me there--you know i was just teasing you when you posted your top 5 list! *HUGS*
~MarciaH #131
Whee, Kiddies; Lance is back. Rob, you have a brother returned fresh from the battle for knowledge and the placing of letters after one's name. Wolfie, we can talk jewelry again - or foreign affairs. He seems to been having them for the past 4 years *;)
~wolf #132
*sniffing in the corners* where is everybody? it is soooo great to be out of SoCal, you just don't know. haven't made it back to LA but am in the great state of TX and loving it. my new job is wonderful and very rewarding! anyway, just wondering through the babes topic and thought i'd stop in. *HUGS*
~MarciaH #133
We're so glad you are out of SoCal !! That place is not civilized and the people are all plastic! I'd better go dust mine. It has been a long time since anyone was in there.
~wolf #134
*wink* L.A. was a good, learning experience. i let my office ruin what fun i could've had out there *sniff* but am not in a hurry to ever go back (wish the weather could be here though)...
~MarciaH #135
It sounds like my experience there. Full of promise but what a mess it turned out to be eventually. We're glad you're back where your family is whole again and you can worry about your kids better.
~wolf #136
*HUGS*
~MarciaH #137
Well I offended my son by cautioning him about the most dangerous job in the world, that of consoling widows. It is his job now. I trust he will not meet with the problems others have encountered. He knew of it and wish I had not mentioned it. Part of being mom is to do the distasteful to avoid worse consequesnces. Thanks, Wolfie. I needed that hug !
~terry #138
At first I read that consoling windows. Ha! Hug.
~MarciaH #139
Too much time spent on the computer!!! hahaha I had to spell check it visually before submitting it. I was afraid of doing just that.
