Sure, we'd seen Jennie Finch on the softball mound a few times ... and we
certainly hadn't forgotten her performance as the runaway winner of our
Best Dressed competition at the 2002 ESPY Awards.
But when we compiled the 16 female athletes to compete in the first round
of Page 2's "Are You Hot?" competition, we didn't expect Finch to dominate
the event by collecting 32 percent of the more than 420,000 votes.
So after seeing how much you all love Finch (and after receiving that
pesky little letter of protest from Anna's people), Page 2 has decided to
turn the finals into an event the people truly want to see: Jennie Finch
vs. Anna Kournikova.
Check out the principals below and vote in the poll at right to determine
who most deserves our title of Hottest Female Athlete 2003.
