~wer Sat, Sep 12, 1998 (22:52) #2
depends on the rest of breakfast...
~KitchenManager Sun, Sep 13, 1998 (07:39) #3
and/or where the vodka is...
~ratthing Sun, Sep 13, 1998 (07:53) #4
screwdrivers: they're not just for breakfast anymore!
~KitchenManager Sun, Sep 13, 1998 (08:13) #5
however, they do go well with Cheerios...
~riette Mon, Sep 14, 1998 (09:51) #6
Do they now?
~KitchenManager Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (08:42) #7
Yes, both now and later. So?
~riette Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (09:14) #8
So cotton balls are white too...
~KitchenManager Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (10:21) #9
and that pertains to?
~riette Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (12:30) #10
The yellowness of nachos, of course.
~KitchenManager Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (12:36) #11
And this affects/effects me how?
~PT Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (13:57) #12
Isn't presentation a part of the picture.
~KitchenManager Wed, Dec 16, 1998 (18:34) #13
doesn't matter
~riette Thu, Dec 17, 1998 (02:58) #14
It affects you like this, muffin: the nachos will make stains on your white cotton t-shirts, if you don't eat them with a knife and fork...
~KitchenManager Thu, Dec 17, 1998 (09:41) #15
Eat nachos with a knife and fork? You have got to be kidding!
~PT Thu, Dec 17, 1998 (11:58) #16
That is something I would pay to see!!!
~riette Fri, Dec 18, 1998 (00:37) #17
My husband eats nachos with a knife and fork...
~PT Fri, Dec 18, 1998 (11:29) #18
I'd love to see anyone eat nachos with a knife and fork. That is kind of like eating fresh oysters with a knife and fork.
~riette Fri, Dec 18, 1998 (15:20) #19
Well, he will do that too, I'm sure! He even eats ice cream with knife and fork. I don't think he's figured out the spoon in all his half century on earth! It's quite sweet.
~PT Sat, Dec 19, 1998 (10:50) #20
How does he eat soup?
~KitchenManager Sat, Dec 19, 1998 (11:01) #21
My thought exactly... barbequed ribs would be interesting to watch, as well...
~PT Sat, Dec 19, 1998 (11:22) #22
Not to mention Buffalo Wings.
~riette Sun, Dec 20, 1998 (01:26) #23
He drinks his soup straight from the bowl, and no, I've not seen him eat barbequed ribs or Buffalo wings! All I know is, I've NEVER seen him eat with a spoon, and the funniest thing is to see him eat cereal on a morning!! Cursing and muttering because they fall off his fork. And when you ask him why he doesn't eat with a spoon, he says, because it's like eating from a bedpan. ha-ha!!!! And people don't understand why some women marry older guys - they're just so funny!
~PT Sun, Dec 20, 1998 (16:14) #24
I hope that when he said that you asked him when the last time he had a meal out of a bedpan was.
~riette Mon, Dec 21, 1998 (05:06) #25
I did!!! ha-ha!! Oxford, Christ Church College, 1968...
~PT Mon, Dec 21, 1998 (14:13) #26
That is pretty good! I didn't expect him to have a response.
~riette Tue, Dec 22, 1998 (03:39) #27
Chris always has a response. And he never asks you questions to which he doesn't know the answer already. Such is the mind of a true intellectual!
~PT Tue, Dec 22, 1998 (10:15) #28
Why ask a question if you already know the answer?
~riette Tue, Dec 22, 1998 (10:15) #29
Because you want to see if the other person gets it right, or you want to play with his answer. It's really like a game, you see. For example: We do something great, like stand on top of the Eiffel tower. And he'll ask me if I'm excited. And I say, yes. And he'll ask, in what way, what kind of excitement. And I'll give him some answer about the wind blowing, and the people looking so little below, the thrill of being so high up - something like that. Which tell him my mood. That's always dangerou with him! And then the game starts, 'cos then he'll ask: You know what kind of excitement I feel right now? Which prompts me to say something like, 'Yes, of course I do; the kind of excitement one can't help but feel when you're standing on top of the Eiffel tower.' Ah, but that's where I fall into the trap, you see! Because he knows I'm going to say it! And that's HIS kind of excitement! Trapping me in my OWN excitement! Do you see what I mean?
~PT Tue, Dec 22, 1998 (10:15) #30
Yes, I do. It sounds like a mind game. Doesn't it make you feel self-conscious?
~KitchenManager Fri, Dec 25, 1998 (01:01) #31
probably no more so than posting on here some days...
